Hmm, I'll try to get my hands on it. I saw it in the stores, but I bought my first 2 for about 7 euros per book, but the new one is 20 euros. Rip-off.
I wish my cousin would hurry up and just give birth already >_< She's 12 days overdue already

Blech, I've given up on the Eldest series. I thought the first book was interesting, if a bit juvenile in the writing style, but the second book was just (IMO) mind-numbingly dull, poorly written, and devoid of the creative spark I felt the first book had.

No joke, but eh. Got the third book for christmas and it is looking at me with it's golden eye. I never back down from a challenge. Especially when issued by a paper dragon. *glomps Mari* Hey, you're sick, that is against the law! >.< Hurry up and get better, you are not allowed to feel bad! *cuddles*

How is that possible!? If you hit the three weeks, labour will be induced here and from what I understand, it used to be two weeks. Or was it the other way around? Either way, there's a 'deadline'.
Awww, thanks Sane! I feel a bit better today. If only the incessant coughing, continuous running nose and the pain in the back would go away... Or if I wouldn't get nauseous when I sit up for longer than 5 minutes I'm a lot better than the day before yesterday though

*pours two cups of scalding hot tea*
Dying? Hah, I wish! Unfortunately the bug's only at stage one: two days of a sore throat, croaky voice and feeling somewhat miserable. But I'm sure it's just getting in gear to erupt in a full-blown cold within days. Joy. Mom's been stuck with one for almost two weeks now, so I know what to expect. The other one looks like it was a fungal infection after all. At least, it seems to be reacting well to the anti-fungal salve I got for it. It's almost gone. I'm mildly optimistic it will stay gone but the blasted thing has had more ressurections than Lazarus already. Still, looking far better then before and it gives me hardly any trouble anymore.

GW, he won't cure me? Am I beyond curing?!?
Earn, that's good to hear about infection number 2. If you need medicines or whatever to kill number 1, I'll gladly be of help. Heavens know I have enough supposed killers here. I say supposed because sofar they don't seem to work for me >_< I got a drawing of myself by a friend in the mail today He used a photo of me to make the drawing.

That seems to be the general consensus. I never bothered after the first, but everyone tells me that it just kept going down...

'Everyone' was pretty much right on that score.

Well I haven't read it yet, but I think his problem is the "trilogy"-writing part. Even older authors don't always succeed at that.

Meh, he didn't even succeeded in keeping it a trilogy. I suppose 'less is more' is something he never heard of...

It's a new phenomenon. Or else we're reliving the Romantic era when previously unpublished countesses married to famous composers wrote huge huge books, soon forgotten.
Big is the new thing. I still haven't gotten to reading Harry Potter, but some fans complain that the shorter books are the better ones. Some people just need exercise in editing.
