Elf girl if the thing that is meagre to the hobbits is food, shouldn't that be the answer to the riddle?

Have a new riddle.

Dark prison
Hidden danger
Betrayed by eyes
Saved by a song.

Congratulations, you've found the first answer of two! All my riddles have at least one answer; now you have to find the other.

It is food in a specific incident. (which takes place in gondor.)

No, actually the incident alone would suffice, since it closely involves food. It is in LotR.

Yes, that was the first answer. Now you need to find the second answer. Hint: It's earlier in the books. Before they get to Shelob's lair.

Yeah, well, see, my riddles are all so ambiguous that they can have more than one answer, that if I want people to get the answer I had in mind, I have to let them guess the obvious answer before they get the confusing answer. So it's unfair. So what.

Either Old Man Willow or the Barrow-wights, I would guess.

Really? Hmph, and I was leaning more towards the Wights. Good thing I generalized my answer.
