Ah well, thank goodness we can choose our friends! The problem with in-laws is that you can't just decide to not see them anymore ... *sigh* esp. when they live across the street! Not if you love your husband, that is.
I'm not sure about that. I have in-law problems, too, and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it. Of course executing my BIL would hurt my sister's feelings.

Maybe we could somehow get your brother-in-law to have an affair with my sister-in-law and get both of them out of our lives in one fell swoop?

Not if there are children in your family. Other faults he has, but he never leaves a child.

lemme know how that goes. Last I checked, y'all had to take ship, rather than muscle up to the dirty realities of Middle Earth.

I didn't get on any ship. Dior killed me first.

But how do you get rid of an annoying sister-in-law. Well, past annoying, actually.

I've generally found that a good kiss on the mouth keeps them at a distance.

You can tell I'm having a bad day when I start to reminisce.

We live right down the road from Hershey Pennsylvania. And Milton Hershey was a great man, and one of the things he did was establish a picnic park for his employees.

In the summer, when I was growing up, we'd sometimes go there. You could tour the factory, and then go to the picnic park, and ride rides and eat cotton candy...that sort of thing. They had a beautiful carousel, and a wooden funhouse...I wish y'all could see that. And a famous coaster.

We'd drive into town, SO hot after hours asking "Are we there yet?" But in Hershey, you didn't have to ask. They used cocoa bean mulch on every garden in the county, you could smell it for miles, coming in. Then the street lamps were shaped like Hershey Kisses, and you'd finally get to the factory, they'd walk you through and give you a bit of chocolate at the end.

Walk down the hill, there were a couple of zoo animals, and a river with boats, and all the attractions.

It wasn't the only little park like that, there were several in this area, alone. mostly gone, now.

But it smelled the best.
