Also in good news, I also got into other good programs with money, but I'm very happy with the one I picked.

Congratz! That's super exciting news .

I met a friend for the first time in for years again. We did speak over MSN a lot the past year and a half, but actually meeting was... great! He had changed a bit, but he was still more or less the same.
Actually, my whole day was happy.

OMG!!!!

I just randomly recorded myself singing a pop song, and I was upset because I felt like it sounded thin, unsteady, and just generally crappy. Plus I have always said that I have no pop voice what so ever. Every time I try to record something pop or jazz styled it sounds terrible.

I. Sounded. Great. o.O I was like... holy CRAP. It's all coming together!!!!!! My voice was steady, it sounded rich and filled out, and although the riffs were a little too fast and threw off my tempo, they sounded smooth and connected to the rest of the line.

I can sing! Not only that, I can sing pop music finally! YAY!!!!!

This explains why everyone kept telling me I was getting a lot better... I thought they were just being nice. I really am a lot better!

It's been decided! My sis and I are going on a holiday together after I finished my thesis! We'll probably go to Turkey in the first week of April. Yay!

Sounds nice, Mari!

The book I'm reading is so interesting (Intersexuality in the Animal Kingdom), I've learnt a lot.. Even though it's 10 years older than I am and I have other books I have to read. X) Knowledge is never unneeded, though.

I have just seen Life in Cold blood...

ohmanohmanohman, I stand in awe of the skill that is BBC natural history camerawork. Amazing! If the next episodes are anything like the first I'm in blissfull heaven, and not just because it had interesting frogs. (Although frogs are always nice, especially when filmed as awesomely as this.) I wouldn't want to miss this for the world.

Now I'm all fired up and I have to go to sleep.

I played some pieces from memory for my class piano teacher, and she was amazed when I told her I've had about two years of sporadic piano training spread out over the last 7 years. She said I played 'amazingly' for someone with so little and such inconsistent training.

That was really cool to hear . My last piano teacher actually drove me to quit because I never felt like I could play well enough for him, so to hear that I'm actually okay was really nice.

I asked her to give me some harder stuff, and she agreed to. Frankly I'm just a TEENSY bit beyond playing piano pieces where you only use five fingers and don't have to move your hands at all. :rolleyes

I know what you mean...they're just so...completely and absolutely bizarre. Though I would be posting in the Venting Thread about it, myself.

I am soooo much better today.

But I have a.... sunburn(?) over my entire body. My skin was kind of sensitive after that first really high fever, and it just got more and more sensitive every day. I don't have a fever any more (thank God) but my entire body has this red coloring and even wearing my shirt is painful.

I also can't really get around much. I'm so tired still, and my legs cramp up if I try to walk too much.

And now back to sleep... I have to be well enough for school on Monday.

Glad you're feeling better
Are you still on antibiotics for that sinus infection? Because I bet it's the medicine that's causing your skin rash. It's harmless though and you should finish your course of treatment even though the skin plays nasty tricks on you.
