I love Ringo, but he's a terrible drummer, sometimes. There are tracks where I conduct with my hands, trying to get him to catch up.

The name looks more Danish than Norwegian.

Scandinavian anyway

Edit:
Aha! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%86bleskiver

Quote:
They were traditionally cooked with bits of apple (æble) or applesauce inside but these ingredients are very rarely included in modern Danish forms of the dish. Æbleskiver are not sweet themselves but are traditionally served dipped in raspberry, strawberry, lingonberry or blackberry jam and then rolled in powdered sugar that has had lemon juice sprinkled over the powdered sugar.

Danish then. I figured someone would be along to correct me if I'd got it wrong.

*pulls out the pan and starts making some for Mari and the other denizens of the Teacup*

My aunt used to make them with jam for Christmas brunch. It'd been years since I last had them when Dad decided to dig the pan out of the basement this morning.

Here you are! There's jam and sugar for dipping along the counter here. Just pick your favorite and eat up.

Had another car crash. Blugh.
Involved deer, a highway, an old lady who wasn't going the speed limit... I didn't hit the old lady, don't worry. I didn't get a ticket, either, which makes me glad. Just a violation.

Deer ran in front of the old lady, who'd been slowing down and speeding up on a highway for about two or three miles... Faking all of us behind her out, you know...

And I didn't realize that the cars in front of me were really stopping till it was too late for me to stop like they were, so I swerved, but I still rear-ended the car in front of me.

I feel like an idiot. My car is not usable at this point in time. Just to let everyone know how MY evening went. I'm going to bed.

*snuggles down in comfy chair and pretends she didn't get up an hour early to catch a ride with her mother*

Thanks for the tea. I just want to sit down somewhere with a corn bag (my mother makes these bags filled with corn that you can heat up in the microwave and they hold the heat and work wonders on a headache or something) on my back constantly for preventative action for more back problems.

Didn't Sane have this perpetual car accident problem some time ago? I think I found her luck!
