I'm not prevented from telling friends and family about the result, but posting it on the internet seems like stretching the agreement a bit far - except that I didn't say which team is mine, so all you know is that we get through to the second round (at least).

You weren't about in the 1970's either, Mr Pacman

just call it pax, man and have done! (hippy accent)

and hey: is the weather always so variable down in Oxford (the large anti-celtic areas of public service nation-hood broadcasting graphics department notwithstanding! )

Yeah, pretty much I think we've had about two properly sunny days this whole term. Your avatar looks like a weather symbol too - like the sun up really close. Is it really that hot in the midlands?

All the time! ... or was i watching the spanish forecasts?

"Scooorccchio!"

Er, no sadly its as variable as Oxford.

Talking of the blues and confidentiality agreements ... ( as you do) are you a true blue teamwise?

( hey: that's pretty mystic no? plus who is to associate the mysterious Sun star with the real-life expose-extroardinaire?)

Maybe David Cameron then. He's young, isn't he? (you know, for a Tory) And called David...

And we're way off topic, if there is a topic in this thread

I'm happy, at least for the moment, because I've got a few minutes finally to moot a little after a whole week of entmoot-deprivation! Can't wait 'till my own computer's back up and running...

I just got an amazing deal on a telescope. If anyone's interested, Hardin Optical has 6" dobs on sale for $99. It's unreal.

No.

If I didn't have to organize a club event today, I would still be wearing the clothes I put on on Friday morning, on Monday morning.

I suppose this doesn't belong here.

I finally got a new battery for my cool sighter for my cool Meade telly - after several years of an annoying sighter scope, I got this cool bulls-eye electronic sighter that works just GREAT!!!! But it needed a battery - I think I left it on last time I used it - and I finally got it and took a quick peek at Jupiter and its moons last night.

I hope you feel better soon, Anduril ... I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so bad
