Ciao, TD & katya! No, no candy 4 me - I just woke up. I'm eating my strawberry cereal. Coffee will be better, I think! I'll make coffee for everyone - a pot of mocha java.
I was on a short business trip with my boyfriend - he brought me along and we made sort of a miniature holiday out of it, and it was SO much fun! We drove up Hwy. 1 to San Francisco, in a 928 Porsche, then spent some time in the City and also in the natural areas around the Golden Gate bridge, and then flew home last night. The marshes and hills in the natural areas was the bomb, because there were all kinds of little indigenous species there. I got photos of red-winged blackbirds, a Snowy Egret, mallard ducks, and hawks. All around that area (this is right as you get to the other side of the Golden Gate bridge) it used to be a military base, back in the 1940's thru the 60's I think. They have these FAScinating bunkers made out of foot-thick old iron with little slits for the big guns to go through, facing the open sea. Stuff like that. HEY!!! I noticed something a couple minutes ago - LAST CHILD OF UNGOLIANT IS BACK!!!! Happyhappyhappy!!! Welcome back 2 the Moot, Chrys we MISSED YOU!!!!

(old jokes, still funny) so wots happened during my absence? and whatever happened to the cafe i, II, III and IV? |

Whenever a thread gets ---- (I forget how many ) responses/posts a new version is started, to lessen bandwidth usage.

Oh, it was great, for the most part. I've been falling way behind on astronomy, although I've been reading up on it quite a bit. New planets--*blinks, has blank look* Quote:
But, I had some money before that, and was able to buy three lamps, a futon, two yellow chairs and one wooden chair. I'd better post this so I don't lose all my new post list.
