I like my sig, of course! (does anyone know what the Latin means, and where it came from?)

I like other people's sigs, too - it's fun to read them.

I had to take out my Chesterton quote, tho - pushed me over the limit

I puzzled over that Latin for ages when you first put it in your sig, and when I gave up and put it in Google, Entmoot was the only link I could follow Where's it from?

It's from Braveheart, and it means "I never lie, but I am a savage".

It's from that scene in Braveheart (scene 13, if you have the DVD) where the princess representing England is negotiating with Wallace, and he's tellling her of some of the atrocities done to the Scots, and the princess' counselor says to her in Latin (thinking Wallace is uneducated and won't understand) that he's a murdering savage and is lying, and Wallace answers him in Latin (much to his surprise) with that line. I love the heart behind that line, and I really want to be that way - so in love with God and His truth that I'll never lie, and as wholehearted for God and people and right as Wallace was for his country and for what was right.

When I did a Google search, the only thing I got was from another messageboard where someone else had it in his sig! I should do another search now that it's in my sig - that would be fun to come up with myself for a search!

It means more or less "I never tell a lie, because I am a wild man!" but I do not know where does it comes from.

dont worry i was just ****ing around, laying the guilt trip for my own pointless fun although you really did have me when you said Manson is awesome in the Manson thread, well now i take it back "you are NOT awesome"
People who actually like Manson to some degree just dropped down a member, probably only me and Lalaith_Elf (and Lin she just wont admit it she told me she loved him but she thinks everyone will hate her if she expresses it openly)
although I love my colorful I dont like the drugs sig its time for some NIN

You can tell your lawyers I said: "So sue me."

Hah! I always wanted to say that one time...

Looks like those lawyers have skipped town with my retainer anyway...(though what they'd want with an orthodontic appliance, I'll never know... )

As I said before, I'm very flattered.

Typical bloody lesbian, always gotta make up for the lack of men in your life by having 'long' signatures.

Nah man, mine's best:

Oh, that's why my sigs always are that long! Thanks for letting me know, EarthofPants!

Although it's long, it's worth reading.
