Since I intended to use the first DYKT thread as facit for playing the game at another place I checked it out. And then I noticed that the clues have been tampered with and didnt look at all like I wrote them, therefore making them useless as a facit for the new game.

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, i saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway;
I heard the mission bell
And i was thinking to myself,
'this could be heaven or this could be hell'
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought i heard them say...

Welcome to the Teacup Café
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Teacup Café
Any time of year, you can find it here

Her mind is tiffany-twisted, she got the mercedes bends
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys, that she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget

So i called up the captain,
'please bring me my wine'
He said,'we haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine'
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say...

Welcome to the Teacup Café
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely face
They livin' it up at the Teacup Café
What a nice surprise, bring your alibis

Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said 'we are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast

Last thing i remember, i was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place i was before
'relax,'said the night man,
We are programmed to receive.

Hey... who opened the door? You said it was "she"... surely it's a "she" we all know and love. Maybe we should take nominations!

XD! I wouldn't know. I'm 23, I'm an 'advanced' kid. I think it was what the kids waz sayin' back in tha day! Mainly the late-80's early 90's. Now the kids of this generation are usually to say anything at all, or they just say a lot of nothing!

Ah, one thing the kids of this generation say these days is "epic fail" and "for the win" and they usually abbreviate everything. And even that is very-2008-ish. Now everything is too cliche to say, movies have no originality left in them, and the internet is a place for personas, not for actual people. Houses are for people, or schools, or jail. But the internet isn't!

But just off the record, I say "word up homie" and give gang signs in pictures like everyone else my age does. However, unlike every other girl my age or younger, I don't "get" Twilight. I seriously don't. To me that series, like every other 'good' idea in the 21st century, is a very askew replacement for real romance, which anyone can get if they just lighten up a little bit!

I love it. The only annoying thing is how super the vampires are... it'd be OK if they didn't have that strength of theirs.

Yesss! I love cookies!

I read the Twilight series for a while and the first one was okay... but my beef with it is that it seriously panders to every teenage girl's dream of the perfect man, which only encourages infatuation and promotes circumstances that often become very sad. And that seems to be the ONLY REASON it was written. Even the writer said she got tired of her fans. The second one was completely just a continuation of the soap-opera-for-teenagers feeling. I didn't get anything else out of it but a feeling that every guy I know is inadequate.

So... I'll take the cookies!

Twilight: read it, didn't see what all the fuss was about.

Then again I'm not part of the target demographic - teenage girls. And when I was a teenage girl, I had Lestat and Louis to read about, and they're far more interesting as vampires go.

I cannot stand abbreviations, expecially the text-message ones that seem to have migrated to the internet. Unnecessary mangling of the English language.

I guess that makes me not only a misfit, but a grouchy one.

I had a friend once who got on Myspace and used the "About Me" section to rant about how people don't capitalize their I's anymore. If I sent him an email with an uncapitalized and solitary i, he'd say, "Um, I think your "shift" key is broken..." and proceed to correct all the mistakes I'd made. I also have made a stand against things like "lol" and "jk". "lol" I simply refuse to use and generally acknowledge because I don't use it. "Jk" began making its way into my friends' speech, so I made up a "generic" version I called "oj", which stood for "only joking".

Yeah! Stickin' it to the teenage Man!

I finished my Twilight rant in the appropriate thread.

I have nothing against 'lol', since it's an actual Dutch word which means just that
