I just filled out the information for ordering my laser pointer! I got a powerful, 5.0 mw (type IIIa) laser with a 532 nanometer wavelength and a range of 25,000 feet and a life of 3000 to 5000 hours of continuous hours of use if it was a perfect world and batteries never died. To go along with it, I'm ordering a lab coat. And coincidentally, I just learned how to use a slide rule, so I'm ordering one, and I'll uninentionally look like a physicist already!

Well what I do, at the moment (going thru Lonely Planet's Guide To Britain from one end to the other), is write clues on places in Scotland and YOU ARE supposed figure out WHAT that place is! Does that make it any clearer?

Indeed, you need to be logged in before you can send PM's. What I meant was e-mail. The adresses can be found in the profiles which, I think, should be accessible without having to log in.

When would you have to use a laser pointer for 5,000 continuous hours? *ponders* That would be one looooooong lecture.

I don't see the point of heels. They seem...er...pointless. I feel sorry for the wearers. I'm absolutely miserable with a pair of boots I have, and they slope forward with, at most, a hypothenuse of 1/2, though probably more like 1/4, of an inch.
I miss the Do You Know This thread. I missed most of the original one. I just can't keep up with some things anymore. Mooting itself still holds its fun, but actually going through the threads and whatnot is work now.
LOL! It's not for a lecture. It would mean that if I was to use it for that long, it would last (not including the battery--it's referring to the Laser Diode) that long. Although, that is funny.
