I'm taking this to Janny's new thread, since it's OT here.

VENT: We're losing my favourite priest! The Norbs at his abbey have re-assigned him to his old parish in LA. I'll miss him.
ANTIVENT: On the plus side, we'll have two new priests next semester; a Norbertine sent to replace Fr. Michael, and a Dominican. Don't know about the former, but I hear from many different sources that the latter is a very good priest. Plus he says the old Dominican rite of Mass! Yay! Plus, Dominicans just have the most kick-ass habit around: http://holyrosaryca.www1.50megs.com/...s/Image251.jpg http://holyrosaryca.www1.50megs.com/...s/Image251.jpg Plus, the last parish I went to was served by Dominicans, and that's where I was received, so I've a soft-spot for the ol' white and black.

I still only have 3, the 4th hasn't grown through --I'm 26. I wonder if it'll ever grow through?

One of my friends only ever had three (so did her brother...but, strangely, both parents had all four). She recently got them removed, too.

THE "WINK" SMILIES ON THE MOOT! silly, i know, but see, the only wink i've ever been able to do without feeling silly is...well...i've only heard it described as a "roguish" wink. yes. that smilie's not quite..."roguish"...

No words can take the hurt away. No advice can take the place of a loved one in your life.
If they were suffering and now are gone, then you can take solace in the fact that they are in pain no longer. If they were not ill and moved on and you miss them, take joy in the times you did have together and what you each got out of that time. Peace isn't automatic, you must try to find it. Be well.
