-ghosts of mars is quite near the top of my list. it was just so... dumb.
-hearts in atlantis. even anthony hopkins could not save this one.
-the banger sisters. yikes.
-(i'm going to die for this) mulholland drive. really, what was the point of that one? i tried to like it, i even watched it several times.
-minority report. i wanted to like it, there some neat ideas there, but it just wasn't interesting.
-the sum of all fears. awful.
-leonard, part 6. whoever made this should be brought to trial at the hague.
-the omega code. i used to like michael york, then i saw this.
-any film featuring patrick swayze. except donnie darko. that is one of my favorites.
-the lawnmower man films.
-the police academy films. they aren't even stupid-funny, they're just horrible.

Agreed on Minority report. i can see why some people would like it (reviewers), but it simply seemed to me like a waste of time.
Sum of All Fears also was pointless. It tries to make some kind of moral point about nuclear weapons and isn't able to pull it off. besides, Ben Affleck just can't act no matter how hard he tries.
And just in case i haven't mentioned this before, the modern-day version of Romeo and Juliet (with that piece of crap actor Leo Dicaprio) was horrible. Some of the visions put forward were good, but the acting was pretty much horrible all around.

I just watched the first ten minutes of what has to be one of the oddest if not worst films I've ever even begun to watch. It's called Prospero's Books, and pretty much it's a really messed up version of the Shakespeare play The Tempest. I think the writer must have been on acid when he wrote the screenplay. From what I saw, it was a bunch of "aritstic" images and a lot of very ugly nude people enacting the characters. I'm probably scarred for life just by seeing even the first ten minutes of it.

There was a ten-year-old girl in the theatre who wasn't even phased. I thought that it was stupid. But... it is nice to know that there's someone out there who is scared more easily than I am.

I saw that movie years ago...I mean, I put it in the VCR and promptly fell asleep! One of the weirder adaptations I've come across...

I don't think "weird" even comes close to describing Prospero's Books. I doubt there's even a word in any language that can truly encompass the pure...oddity of it all.

When I rented XxX I rented it for the sole purpose of making fun of Vin Diesel's (or however youspell it) extremely poor acting skills. So I watched it, and the worst part was, it was so bad that there simply wasn't anything to laugh at. It's so lacklustre that there's no material for storyline or for jokes.

the broken hearts club. it's a film about gay men obviously written and acted by very straight men trying to be 'sensitive' and 'open-minded.' it has every cliche in the book, but it's serious. we turned it off when the characters started fawning over 'beaches.' on top of that, it has the most horrible acting and writing i've seen in a long time (and i'm even thinking about both of the new star wars films).

So, a bad movie in whch the charaters fawn over another bad movie?

How about "Super Troopers"?

They aimed low and hit even lower. I thought it was for 10 year olds so I rented it for my son (he liked the commercial). It turns over to be rated R so it's juvenile but juveniles shouldn't see it.
