The group made ready to leave, but Akkar noticed that Boin looked unsure whether or not to come with them.
"Are you coming with us Boin?" asked Akkar. "You're welcome to. We could use another warrior. Besides, if Callinya trusts you -" "Even if he hasn't actually met her," interjected Aranek. "Queit you," grinned Akkar, "Anyway, you're welcome to join us Boin," Akkar finished, hoping Boin would. OOC: No one meant to exclude Boin I'm sure. And he's not about to be excluded either.

ic; "Come on, Boin! I'm sure you are trustworthy enough." said Pansy, hopping on Cory, who sniffed Boin suspiciously. "Here," said Pansy quietly. "Hand him this, and he'll trust you." she slipped him a carrot. Boin looked at Pansy like she was one mug short of soberness. "Ready? Which way is it Jan?"

IC: Hamish sat with Callinya in his lap as a cat. He didn't pet her as you would a real cat, but he rested his hand on her back as a friend. "She's really mad about losing that trail," he thought. "Maybe it's more important than simple tracking - I should ask her when she calms down more." As everyone prepared to leave, he placed Callinya, who was still a cat, in front of the saddle on his horse. He mounted, making sure not to sit on her angrily twitching tail. Greyson mounted and rode up to Rorin. "Hey, do you want to ride with me for now?" OOC: Is Boin mounted? If not, you can say that Akkar offered to double ride with him Aewionen.

"We need to go south-east of here. I can't say the distance. It seems to change all the time, but the direction never does."
<Can't have them knowing where I live exactly now, can we. If one of them turns out to be a traitor...> He said to himself worriedly.

"Yes, we can at least get to a good campsite before nightfall," said Akkar.

ooc: yeah, I have a horse
ic: Boin nodded after thinking it through, "Yes, I will come with you." He whistled sharply, as his horse, Aniar, trotted towards him. He mounted him as he looked at the cat in one's lap. Something was strange about it but he didn't dwell on it too much. He looked away and turned hs mind to other things.

Boin followed Faligorn and tried to concentrate on the task ahead, though he could not get what he had overheard from Rennati and Suliard out of his mind.

Callinya sighed mentally and shifted into a human being carful not to disturb Hamish's seat. "Have you clamed down any?" Hamish asked. "Enough....It just really gets me! How did they do it?! I'm an excellent tracker, and yet...the path just vanished! It's as if they landed gently on the ground in that one spot!." Callinya vented. "Well....that's a scary thought." Callinya waited for more the nasked impatiently when Hamish didn't offer any more of his thoughts "What's a scary thought?" Hamish stayed quiet for a moment then said "Isn't it obvious? They dropped out of the sky...regular birds didn't carry them. It could have only been shifter's." Callinya was silent. Everyone was silent because everyone had heard their conversation. "You certainly have opened a new can of worms haven't you?" Callinya asked trying ot lighten the mood.

"An Easterling..." said faligorn, checking his horse to a walk, to draw level with boin, "Do you know the dwrves of dorwinion, by the sea of rhun?, they have been assailed by a new enemy from the far east, we fear it is this new enemy that has invaded Harad"

Faligorn then stopped, and waited for callinya and hamish to catch up
"Do you really think that's possible?" he asked callinya, "Would a whole group of shape shifters be working with these orcs?" ooc: hows that fimbrethil, if you meant those invading harad and not orcs, i will edit |

OOC: General easy reading tip, put a new paragraph each time a different person speaks.
Hamish's words sparked a flurry of discussion as the party rode south-east. Akkar trusted Hamish, and he had also been in the scouting party. "Are you sure it could only have been other shape shifters Hamish?" he asked. "I can't think of anything else," Hamish replied. "Jan, are there other shape shifting people besides your own? Or, and I don't mean to accuse you of anything, can you be assured of your people's loyalty?" Akkar asked. "Wait a minute," said Greyson, "If the orcs were shifters, and not orcs at all, wouldn't they have reverted back to their natural forms when they died? How does that work Callinya?" "I don't know, but if they were actual orcs, they could have been carried away by shifters somehow," said Hamid. OOC: A lot of questions in there for people's characters.

"There are the woses, but as you said, they would shift back after they died. And fortunetly they cant shift into flying things, but a lot of their forms are able to leap great distances."
