none of us can wield that spoon, frodo, it's power is too great. Understand this, i would stir that spoon out of the desire to do good, but through me, it would wield a power oo great and terrible to mention.

Chrys, btw, where is that essay you told me to look at. I printed it out and read it twice over the past month (and people say I read too much.)

I couldn't find it. How long has it been there? I only went to the second page, and didn't bother looking earlier than September.

Is this the poem so far? Hehe. (I added appropriate caps and fixed your typo) Three spoons for the elven kings eating soup Seven for the dwarf lords drinking cups of tea Nine for mortal men doomed to stir One for the Dark Nurvi, in her dark kitchen In the Teacup Café where the shadows lie One Spoon to rule them all, one spoon to find them One Spoon to bring them all, and in the darkness stir them In the Teacup Café where the shadows lie. If the Dark Nurvi regains the Spoon of Wrath, the land will be covered in a regime of strict grammar rules, enforced by jackbooted orcs!

Now we need a lot more people to have: The Black Spoon of Nargothrond, the-- well, there must be something else.
This is even better than the high-tech masks joke . What should we call the tower of Barad-Dur? Oh, btw, I'm learning to write tengwar, but I can't figure out the tehtas used for vowels, where to put them, what letters can use them, etc.

The Plastic Spoon of Spam could go to the Witch-King of Angmar. Except... I wouldn't have spammers working for me. Maybe it should be the Spoon of Thesauri or Dictionaries or something...
