The search for the Tears of the Sea

Haliand gasped as things began happening very quickly. When everything slowed down, Orthean was floating wounded in the still water as time was stopped again, and Mialill was presumably mad again.
The Moana swam quickly over to the serpent-mage and knelt beside him on the stone front of the temple. She took the edge of her tunic and ripped peices off the hem, trying to staunch the wounds somewhat. "What happened?" she asked him, mostly to keep her mind busy and her hands sure.

" I probably should stay with him...My bloodline would be an abomination To The sea elf's gods"

"He, a SERPENT entered one of N'thai's sacred Temples. He was punished by the goddess for entering a place he did not belong in." Mialil said." Your blood line? What pray tell, are you? Half Dark-elf? Gondorian? Or maybe orc?"

"I is not important now... You must get the tears!"

"Haliand is the one who must get the ones in the Temple. Hali, the one with questionable bloodlines can watch the Serpent-mage. You should get the Tears." Mialil said.

Ooc: I is here! I is here! Sorry about that, guys.

Ic: Haliand straightened, floating upward. She placed a hand on Orthean's head, sighing. "Sea serpent or not, I do not like seeing anyone in pain. I will return." she turned to go, then looked down at herself and flushed slightly. "Miallil, do you have any spare clothing, before I go? It doesn't matter much, but as you can see, my tunic is much shorter than it was."

Ooc: Well, I had to deal with it sometime, or else risk turning into a super-moana chick that forgets about little details like food and clothing and stuff. *Legoles* (Sorry, couldn't resist one more dig at my little sev- I mean eigth grader. )

I'm gonna tell your sister to pound your head! Little 9th grader![you are shorter than me u know!]

"Well, I shall go in. I have an extra tunic since you need one." *Hands tunic from bag* "There!" I said as she slipped it on.

Yeah, well..... short people ROCK!!!!! (Except short guys; they have ego problems)

Oh, and see? You just proved it! Silly oversized toddler.

*ducks as rocks and crockery are thrown with amazing speed*

Ic: "Thank you." Haliand bit her lip, then shook her head, showing a calm face to the world. Who knew what was inside? It didn't matter, she decided, and swam inside.

Ooc: Do you want to describe it, littleCat?

ooc:sorry for not posting sooner but this is what is happening to my character from when he entered the temple

ic: flash of light...people he knew...people he knows...people he will know...pain...terrible pain...then coldness...then love...

"if you have need of anyother clothing items, i will gladly loan you some. Forn instance, leggings might be adviseable." Mialil said. She unconciously began fingering her pendant as she entered the temple. Large half-seashells covered the floors as pews for worship and a large coral altar gilded with mithril stood before a gold, silver and mithril statue of a sea-elf woman. The woman was tall, with silver skin and golden hair, eyes of opal and two Tears falling from those black eyes, Two Tears of the Sea." The Goddess cries for the lost clan of Sea-elves....those killed by a curse palced aopn them by Isildur in a language they did not know. She also cries for those who have not found their destiny and their happiness."

"That would probably be for the best. I'm rather unused to traveling underwater and dealing with such varied climates." Haliand looked back over her shoulder at the two they left behind as she swam in, then bit her lip and went forward. As she entered the temple, she stopped short in awe. The statue seemed so real, the Tears so sincere, that Haliand almost found herself crying with it. Alighting on the ground she found that gravity was in effect here, and she must walk. Walk she did, slowly, reverently to the statue. The moana's hand reached up almost in a caress, as if to brush the tears away from the statue's face.
"Shalani sikosa mih darsi, N'tha" she murmered reverently, then,
"I accept this great gift of your tears. And just as the sea and the moon exist with eachother, I will leave a part of my home here with you." She removed a shining pearly ball from her pocket, and placed it in the hand of the goddess.
"My people are yours, just as your people are my goddess'."
Haliand bowed, and began to turn away. As she wolked slowly back to Miallil by the doors, she saw a flicker of movement off in the corner of her eye. She whirled, but strong arms had her from behind, and as she kicked back someone else yanked her long hair cruelly, pulling her head back.
Mialill was flinging herself at Haliand's attackers, but they disappeared through the long broken window of the temple.

The statue's face seemed angry now, furious at having her temple violated by those she had not specifically kept out...

Ooc: The story was lagging, so I had to move it along.

... That noise! There must be trouble... But I cannot leave The Serpent by itself, But I can't bring it with me. I also would be breaking an oath between my kind and The Sea Gods.
Reshin started pacing back and forth(well you know what I mean by pacing!)

Haliand! I must not let her be wounded.... nor anything of that catergory

He swam toward the entrance, and unsheathed a rusty old knife that he has kept from his previous journey. Then with out any regrets he entered.

Mialil hissed a curse in the language of the sea elves, this was not good. She looked out the window, looking for any sign of the attackers. She scowled and jumped out the window, looking for Haliand. She noticed pieces of broken coral, and followed the trail.

Reshin had entered then room where Haliand and Mialil had been,But they were gone. The stones were gone and there was a statue with a face filled with anger. Then his eyes went to the shatter glass,Then to the window where he saw Mialil Running.

It seems I am a bit too late... Wait there's another passage.

There was another passage! It was behind the statue of the sea goddess. It was small but big enough. So he basically crawled to the next room. The Room was quite amazing in the sight of Reshin. It was somewhat like a small, round room made of chunks of Saphire. There was an open clam that had a strange glowing orb. Its glow was green but the orb it's self was a creamish color.

Reshin couldn't help himself by grabbing the odd orb. It glow reflected off his eyes as he inspected it. It was almost a trance of fascination. He could not keep it though it would be worse than even entering the temple, But before he could put it back He heard a noise inside his head that was yelling to his mind saying "Mor-Jin".
While this was happening a figure appeared by the enterance of the secret room. It carried a spear and a shield, It had a tear on it's forhead. It looked like a sea elf but it was more of a ghost. It looked like woman but Reshin couldn't tell since it was heavily armored.

"You have brought your evil upon the temple. You shall not leave this room that I guard. PUT BACK THE Pearl!"The figure commanded.


Only my luck... I should of Caught up with Mialil... But that tear upon it's forehead... should I fight to take it. What if its a ghost or something a bit unatural. But I must negotiate with it.

[Raistlin]

the sea flashes with a red light bringing everything back from the time stop, and again the sea flashes with blue light bringing the serpent back away from the clearing. what has happened... the maona something has happened to her "i must enter that temple" the serpent transforms into the mage form that his friends know him as and enters the temple, seeing the blood in the water. his gaze goes to the glass on the floor, then he heres the sound of the human behind the statue. Orthean goes to the sound of this and sees the ghost and gasps "what are you doing here i thought i killed you years ago."

Ooc: Cool. Two knights in shining armour hastening to my rescue. Fun.

Ic: Haliand was flipped upside-down, still held by several pairs of arms, and the ground began to move quickly along. Her attacters were masked, but she could see their dark hair. Suddenly, they stopped and Haliand was enfolded in one person's arms. She started to struggle, but he drew a knife and held it in front of her face. "Careful." he said, then suddenly went into a fast dive, going down, down into darkness.

[Legoles]

Heh, third knight to the rescue.
"Hey, wait for me! I've got the pearl!" Shouted another masked man.
"Good job. What's your name again?"
"Rhian-" He started. "My name's Rhian."
"Good job Rhian. Let's go!"
He swam next to the men. They reached a cave with diamond walls. They laid her upon one of the beds, then bound and gagged her.
"Hey, Rhian! Gaurd the prisioner will ya?"
"Sure!" He bent down to the moana's ear, and whispered "I'ts me Rhiannon. Don't worry, I'll find a way to get outta here. Now lay still. I'll loosen your bonds and remove that infernal gag."
