Mialil nodds and begins swimming down into the dark water, her sea-elf eyes adjusting to the darkening water."We're almost there. " she said to the others, pointing into the darkness at a white temple of marble.

Haliand swam forward quickly, putting on a burst of speed.

There it was, beautful but in disrepair. The moana swam to the steps, then let herself sink until she was standing upon the stone.

She closed her eyes, and breathed in and out to the rythm of the swells over her head. Then, slowly, she took her violin from its silver bag and held it, but did not play. Haliand opened her mouth and sang and ancient melody of the tide and the ocean and the moon and its phases, and of the interconnectedness of all liveing things and their beauty. There was no other sound as the song ended and Haliand tucked her violin under her chin and played. The melody rose into the water, altered in the sea, but still pure. Haliand wept as she played, becoming wholly one with her music and her song and the ocean.

Slowly, the temple doors began to open...

Mialil felt a calm wash over her that she had not felt since the serpents had begun their assult on Darthel, and that was when she was a toddler. She watched the doors as they opened, amazed at the power of music on the ancient doors. She waited for the doors to fully open.

A look of despair came over Orthean then one of concentration. He was starting to grow longer then shorter, suddenly a red light flares and the serpent that is Orthean to dart towards the opening doors with a look of madness in his eyes. He reaches the doors and he screams then enters the sacred temple leaving behind a trail of blood

the members outside the temple hear a cry and then another flash of red light. just as suddenly orthean had lost control he regained it trying to escape the temple "help me pleassse" by this time blood is pouring out of me and i just manage to find the exit in time. a flash of blue light and time stops then i orthean collapses in a the ocean blood stopping as the rest of the ocean is stopped
