Did it work? I'm doing pretty good today!

At least the entrance is clean now and the huge stack of papers is in the paperbin downstairs.
Say, does anyone know of a programme for 'recycling' glasses? I thought there was a programme to send your own old glasses to Africa or somewhere so other kids can use them. I still have my first pair here and I really can't wear that one anymore... (I was 4 when I got them)

In this country, the Lions Club collects them. Look under "fraternal organizations" or 'service organizations" near you.

Ah, today I had some great hot chocolate. Mixed the cocoa to the milk as usual, then warmed it, and then... molted two pieces of milk chocolate in it. Yummy.

Oh dear, read through 5 and 1/2 pages of cafe. Congrats for those who need them, motivation for Effy, congrats for the one getting married, console for those who want that... I feel like a guardian angel.

Mari, you spoke about being a control freak. Did you mean feelings or in general?

Not really. I only play video games every day if I have a certain game I'm playing through. I have one that I want to get into now, but I don't have time with school and homework. I mostly sit around the house trying to get myself to study, but not being able to. I feel too guilty to do anything else so I sit and do nothing. Or nap. I study an awful lot though.

Now, if you would've said the same to me back in August, I would've said "Yes ma'am," and would be playing for 10 hours a day.

Other news: I'm trying to persuade my mother that she wouldn't mind 2 dogs in the house for the coming few months... so far I'm not having a lot of luck though. It might be easier if I could explain a few things to her that I do not want to explain.

No, there's no such thing as autumn break. We do get a long weekend for Thanksgiving, but that's not for a month.

At University I didn't get an Autumn break either, but at college I do

Just one week though and I'm using it to do some cleaning, getting back on track with studying and earning money >_<

But I think our school year is still as long as the American one because we don't have a lot of public holidays or so I was once told.

Maybe it's like solving a Rubik's Cube.... you have to mess it up a lot before you get it right?

My room is done! And yes Empress, it usually gets worse before getting better

But now for the first time in months, my windowsill is clean and I can see my huge tiger again. He was buried under pillows and my winter blankets before.
