I go now to my long rest in the/_i_e_e_s/halls beyond the seas and
Mountains of Aman. It will be long ere I am seen among the Noldor
again; and it may be that we shall not meet a second time in death
or life, for the fates of our kindreds are apart. Farewell!

Was my "of" in the fourth line wrong, too? "Or" fits better.

And once again, stuck on ONE WORD!

Is this Finrod speaking to Beren?

'of' in the fourth line is indeed correct.

So is everything else. Except that one word.

All I have to say is that I feel very very out of the loop.

Fireless?

It is Finrod to Beren.

Nope, midge. Not 'fireless'.

lifeless?
I'm sitting here thinking of words that end in "...less" because that is the only type of adjective I can conceive that ends in s like the above.

But I won't guess any of those. I'm sort of afraid that you're sitting there chuckling at me because it doesn't end in "-less".

I haven't found any words that fit yet... wiseless, sizeless, tireless..

Hey! Tireless! I'll try it.

Since we can only take one guess at a time, no, it's not liceless.

This is mostly me seeing the funny inserts we COULD put there. Until further notice, my guess is tireless.

diceless, dimeless, fileless (wouldn't that be nice?), fiveless (a world without FIVES???), giveless (that would stink), hikeless, kiteless, mileless...

I'll say mileless while I think of others.

Even though I bet Middle-Earth and all its surrounding areas used metres like Europe does!

Once we get through all these, DPR, we'll know it doesn't end in "-less" and we'll be right back where we started.

tileless, timeless!

Forget tideless.
I pick timeless.
