Well, I wish him luck, but I won't vote for him, even if he is a "moderate".
So what are the odds on a hillary/obama ticket?

Ya never know with Democrats do you? They all want to run for the complete palace. I'd say it'll go like this:

Hillary and Obama will be the two titans at it, and if Obama gets the nomination, he will NOT choose Hillary. But if Hillary gets the nom, she will choose Obama as a running mate, because she'll feel she has to make it up to the black vote.

Looks as though Hillary is going to be struggling because of her support for the war.

Any thoughts on that?

Funny how Bush's misadventure appears to be harming the Democrats in this way.

Oh Gaffer, you should HEAR her, she is quite the turnaround now.
She may not be saying "complete pullout!" but she nicks at anything she still can so she'll seem independent. Ahd hey, she definitely seems to be, after all, when you say you think marriage is strictly between a man and woman, and then say the complete opposite the next year - that just goes to show how consistently independent she is.

OHO! Look who is securing the power for himself down in Venezuela... Hehehe...
It's pathetic beyond belief.

Note about Hillary though: I'd prefer her to that Edwards fool. At least we knew Hillary was trying to take the White House for years, Edwards pretends to be humble, and thats far more disgusting.

And who knows, Edwards is probably incapable of half the stuff Hillary is. At least she knows how to kick butt at some level.

So there is some (grudging?) respect for Hillary amongst Republicans?

Chavez is making himself legally a dictator.

Only because she isn't foolish. She's a commie alright, but if she became president, at least her only credential wouldn't be "minority" even if that was the reason people voted.

And of course we want her to run so we can easily beat her. Even the lefties think she's a right-winger!

Yeah watching Chavez become a mini-castro is absolutely pathetic.

I definitely agree.

Hillary Clinton has now announced that she's running.

"That Edwards fool," Hector? Why "fool?" What is foolish about John Edwards, praytell? Are you jealous, or something?

True that, true that Bella! Quite so. But I have a feeling about John Edwards, I sense something special about him, I can't put my finger on it now but we'll see what time tells us. He's very interesting. There's something about him.

But how friggin' COOL would it be to have Hilary Clinton as President!! A helluva lot cooler than the Bush Cartel, that's for sure. She's way cool, and it is about time we had a woman hold Commander In Chief reins around here. I seriously can't wait 'til that day really does come to us all here in America. A woman for President. Hell yeah.

First off, his VERY stretching meaning of "came from a lower class family", or "Son of a miller worker."

It's one thing to say you can sympathize with Americans, it's another to say that you ARE a regular American when you clearly aren't.

It was like hearing Robert Redford say, as he did some years ago in an interview, "Celebrities aren't rich."

"John Edwards is not rich."

At least Hillary doesn't pretend.
