Nice one! This is the knife Beren used to cut the Silmaril from Morgoth's crown (unfortunately, I can't supply a name!)

I think it was called Angrist.

Helping those who need it
The hurt and the tired
This is my gift
It is what I do
Grey is my dress
And night is my time
I sleep in shadows
Upon an isle

Here is a reposting of an unsolved puzzle:

Complete the Rhyme

Invaders from a foreign land
Are planted in “abandoned” sand.
The locals have a name for it
And christened it the "____ ____."

editors note: the answer has two words.

Here is another puzzle for y'all to twist your brains over...

What is the relationship between these things?

Ring of Barahir
Sword of Thingol
Axe of Tuor
Bow of Bregor

Editors note: To correctly solve the puzzle you must state why all the items are listed together. For extra credit : why does the Ring stand out above all these fabulous treasures?

I had to look it up for the first of the two words; 'Battle Pit' (from 'Scouring of the Shire')

Yes, Battle Pit is the solution. It was formerly an "old sand pit" which is where I got the "abandoned" angle.

They were all heirlooms kept in Numenor. The Ring stands above others because it was saved from the Downfall.

You're pretty good at riddling, Keith. Maybe you know the answer to this one, it's not very easy...

There are seven letters in my name
And I will always come at end
For the first I come in spring
In winter the second meet me
But I always come at the end
For I am last.

That is correct. As T_D can tell you, that puzzle was sourced from Unfinished Tales.

Is anyone going to try my riddle?
I post it again!

Hotter than the hottest.
Colder than the coldest.
Wiser than the wisest.
More foolish than the bigest fool.
What is it?
