OOC: Based on my limited knowledge of horses, I get it. All our horses have "F" names - Firefoot, Flare, and Flathorse! We could do something with that... maybe..?

"Oh, I'm not offended at all Faligorn. We also have some cheese, it's very nice, if you eat cheese," offered Akkar as he took a honey cake.
Akkar did a double take. "Wait a minute, what did you with the orc?" he asked of Devak.
"That's disgusting," said Hamish, looking interested.

"thank you, akkar" said faligorn politely "We do eat cheese, in great quantities sometimes!"
He nibbled a small piece of cheese, found it to his liking, and ate
a whole slice and drinking a small amount of mead and sitting down

Hamish walked over to Devak and Pansy to take a closer took at the orc bottle. The rest of the Haradrim sat with Faligorn.
"I love cheese," said Akkar, "I could eat a whole wheel. It's so good," he emphasized.
"Yeah, I was reluctant to even let him carry any of the cheese on this journey, but Akkar assures me he'll restrain himself," said Greyson. Akkar ate quietly, thinking of home, and his family.

Boin watched the group from a distance, not sure if he should show himself now, or later. He sighed and walked towards the group slowly. "Are you the ones headed to Harad?" he asked smoothly, surprising those he crept behind.

ooc: That is where you are headed right? lol, this thing just takes off! If not, I will edit my post.

Devak: You see if I told any of you I'd have to kill you it's a good trick at parties though, now let's see what our orc friend has to say, *she uncorks the bottle and, The smoke pours out the top of the bottle and it colects in to the shape of an orc*
Orc: Please don't kill me...
Devak: Give me a good reason not to?
Orc: I know your secret,
Devak: *she froze in her place a chill ran down her spine as she drew her sword* you know nothing about me orc and I trie of listening to you wine,
Orc: Please Devak, I will do anything, just don't kill me.
Devak: *smiles* when have you ever known me to be merciful?
Orc: Devak...
Devak: Where you and your friends merciful? was sauron merciful when he killed my family right in front of me? and now you ask for mercy? die like the dog you are! *makes one quick motion with her sword and the orcs dead, she walks away and mounts flare and she turns to, terragon, Don't wait for me I'l catch up *with that she sprinted off*

"How very strange," said faligorn
"Indeed it is a good 'party trick', no doubt it astounds enemies,
and why dash off so suddenly like that?" he continued,
speaking his thoughts aloud, and no doubt the thoughts of some others within the company

"Would you like a carrot?" Pansy asked the newcomer. She wanted to make a good impression, and evil people don't give carrots.

ooc; yeah, so that was meaningless

OOC: Your links were brilliant Pip! That was the most perfect picture ever of Flathorse. I'm glad we have an equestrian posting here - you can help us if we ever make some kind of equestrian no-no.
BTW you were right Aewionen, we are going to Harad. That's what your character would know anyway, though we recently decided to go to Jan's people, the Muryan, first. I put a synopsis of our activities in the discussion thread, so read that to catch up (I do all the time - there's a lot going on). If I've made any kind of mistake, or left something out, post there! Don't be shy about letting me know. I hope people will use the discussion thread, I think it could be quite useful.

IC:

Akkar realized that the newcomer, a fellow Haradrim by the looks of it, must have been the one Callinya was referring to. He briefly wondered where the elusive shape shifter had gone.
"Welcome friend, Callinya told us we might meet you. As you can see, we were just having a mid-day meal. And I don't just seem to be the leader, I am the leader of this group," affirmed Akkar. He made a mental note to find out later if anyone took an issue with the fact that he was the leader. It wasn't the right time now, but he hoped to repair any potential rifts in the group before they turned into trouble.

EDIT: Cross-posted with Legoles.

OOC: Yea, more F-named horses. Um, who's Flare's owner again? Is it Devak? Let me see if I can find something, though I'll go with whatever Pip finds.
We didn't forget you Legoles! Cool post btw. I decided Akkar only trusts him because Callinya seems to, but that's a very neat angle to introduce.

"I have my ways.." Boin said to one who questioned his knowledge of their group, "Callinya eh? Can't ever say I've meet her...or maybe I have. So hard to keep up these days, especially with all the recent deaths..." his voice soon began to trail off as he spoke of the matter.

OOC: BLAH!

IC:
Walking into camp came a very angery wolf. Most of the group, especially Hamish and Hamid, didn't think any thing of it, but all the others who didn't know her nearly panicked.Shifting into somthing that would more easily vent her anger and to calm her companions without actually having ot talk ot them right now. Pacing about the camp as a horse she frequently kicked the trees. "Temper, temper Cal." Hamish said. Calmed down some but still not trusting herself ot talk she curled up as a small house cat in Hamish's lap, staring at Boin she waited for him to finish what he had to say.

Faligorn looked at the other side of the camp, and saw a horse pacing about, kicking trees, "Must be Callinya," he said to himself

he then drank some more mead, and put the rest back in his pack, and slung the pack over firefoot's back

"Well that was certainly a nice luncheon," he said, looking thoroughly pleased with himself, "What time are we getting back 'on the road'?" he asked akkar

Akkar reflexively reached for his sword when the wolf appeared, but realized it was Callinya. "We should head out now," he said. He put his boots and armour back on.
