aha! i just love discovering when people misuse apostrophes or other mutilation of the English language!

you should not have used an apostrophe in "its". "it's" is a contraction of "it is", so right now your sentence reads "You want I should direct it is evil red gaze upon you?", which makes no sense whatsoever. sorry, i'm evil. i can't help it.

yeah, yeah, go vent about me in the Venting thread.

I totally agree! The other thing that gets me is the 'you're' and 'your' and 'their' and 'there' (and sometimes 'they're')

Now if i do it wrong you'll all notice!

Knowing i only have three more weeks of studying physics!!! YEAH!!! *jumps up and dances briefly. Composes self again*

Actually, it is "it's", because it is pertaining to something that it owns, i.e, it's gaze....

Turns it's red gaze upon T.C.

There is a few instances, in which you should have used capitalisation in those two sentences. Use of the exclamation point is invalid. The use of the 'or' conjunction renders the sentence to make very little sense. Use of "other" is extraneous.

The full stop should fall between the quotation marks, not outside.

And, now I will pull out my cherry pie, and shove it up your derriere. You pendantic git (And yes, that is a sentence fragment.)

Lake Shasta rocks for hanging out with friends on a houseboat with plenty of jet skis & boats to play with....my family and friends play there nearly every year.....I rarely go though, I prefer to hang out on high mountain lakes rather than reservoirs....

That is deliberate, just like my misuse of the present tense that I have handily highlighted in italics.

Rather dubious use of semi-colon there. Also, the fullstop should fall between the quotation marks.

:P

The evil sheep will get yous all!!

Those weren't direct quotes. They were an alternative form of italicizing. Therefore it's debatable where the period should be placed.

Heh heh...

TC look what you have started. WWIII is truly on the way.

There still should have been a full stop, young man.

A comma after 'therefore' is appropriate as well.

Alright, Mr. Pendantic, you get to pass on the incorrect usage of a semi-colon... this time.

lol BoPeep, this has been an enlightening discussion. and yes, it is 'its'; 'its' is a possessive pronoun. 'his', 'hers', 'ours', 'theirs', 'yours'. none of them use apostrophes. i rest my case. (over there, in the corner )

OK... I've got an incident that made me really happy.

Last night my church youth group had a pizza party. And my pastor asked for volunteers. So I raised my hand along with 2 others... who were both these big boys. We were going to have a pizza eating contest... the first to finish their piece was the winner. I was the last one up there so they left me the biggest piece. He said go... I tore into that piece of pizza like a bear that's found a bunch of honey. I had it finished in two bites. The two guys had looks of astonishment on their faces. They had just started. All the girls went wild!!! I was named the PIZZA EATING CHAMPION!

Ok... I got a little carried away there... I'm just proud of the fact I can stuff my face faster than the average joe. My daddy was very proud of me... my mama was not... lol

That's my face ready for a big bite of pizza!
