*lights start flicking and victory music starts to play* Bingo! Bring in the prize for Jonathan!
Hehe, yes, hormones for my thyroid. I have a hypothyroid which caused me lots of problems the past few months. It kept me out of school and quite depressed/apathic for several weeks and I'm finally starting to get back into everything again. Not sure what the meds are called, but I have to take 1 small pill half an hour before breakfast. Which isn't easy when you usually get up only 20 minutes before you have to leave

Auch, you have to take medicine for that? Hopefully you stay under controll with that. Ingwe has the same thing, and it contributed to a lot of his problems. It's more common these days for some reason.
Well the weather here was a bit better than usual (0 degrees Celsius, if you can call that better). Although I'm stuck with a cold, I went to the park and bundled the kids up just to go for a 15 minute stroll through the park. Walking around helps, even in small amounts. I do prefer much warmer weather though. Winter's getting old very quickly. |

Yes, I read that hypothyroid is often misdiagnosed as a depression or post-natal depression, but that is just one of the symptoms. It really sucks. The only reason the doc had my thyroid tested, was because I lost weight fast while eating a lot.
Oh! We can share our cold!

That's what Ive had lately: post-natal depression, it's difficult to avoid though. I'm on medicines for all kinds of things right now for a few more months. I've recovered physically, which I didn't expect after twins. But emotionally I've just fallen apart over the past 2 and a half months. I will also have to get my thyroid checked out, because without a doubt that will probably become a problem soon.
Ya, my husband and I both have a cold. He has it worse than I do, but it should be okay soon. The last couple of weeks have been really exciting ... in not soo good a way. But there's still hope. There's always hope. It's the only thing people haven't found a way to kill yet!!! |

Post-natal depression sucks. I hope you will feel more positive again soon. Don't let some stupid hormones beat you! Once you know it's stupid hormones and not just you it gets a different fight. At least, I started fighting harder since I understood it was my hormones messing with me and not just my psyche (though I'm sure some things that passed by the past few months were there long before my hormones started going awry).
My confirmation class was about hope. We couldn't agree on the definition of hope. Actually, I just had a moment of insight, thank you! PS: look at your postcount... 123 EDIT: Nerdy! Congrats!!! *joyous dance* What did you write about?

A jet-sled in red.
Handled well, acceleration was monsterous, braking power was of whiplash inducing strength. The interior was slightly cramped, and the shocks were jarring and you really felt the road, but what would you expect? My cousin had put in a eardrum shattering soundsystem and some other neat electronics in it... Ah well, it was a good car, especially for Hawaii. I miss it.

Sounds alot like this little baby. Small car, handles like it's part of the road. No low-end torque, but once it gets goin, it can really move. I'm lucky no cops have seen me yet.

Heh, well, the design of the car has changed, by the looks of it. The only problem I had with the rx7 was the rate of repairs. She wasn't as finnicky as say, the Mercedes' or BMWs of my uncles or the MGBs (jesus I loved that roadster...), by any means.
But still, the repair rate for the little (and not so little, cap and rotors, anyone?) was more than I expected. But by god did it go Vroom! May the Force be with you on the road, and let the Cops be confounded!

My fav car was our Fiat 124 Sport Spider ... - just a pretty, fun car.
Congrats, Nauti and Tessar and Nel! And stay on top of things, Amael - do NOT go off those meds without the doctor's OK, and keep getting checked! I can't imagine having twins even being healthy - I hope you have some help around?

I am so, so, so glad that I've removed myself from having more than casual dealings with the 'drama people' at my university. Those five or six people who cause all of the stupidity and drama just by the things they say, do, and assume about other people... it's nice to know I can just watch them from the outside and not be involved .
I'm also happy because my voice sounds a LOT smoother from the highs to the lows now. Still a little inconsistency in the sound as I approach the high end, but it's MUCH better than before. The only thing I don't get is that people have been telling me I've got a big, heavy voice... and I really don't. It's not as light sounding as it used to be, but I'm certainly not very loud, and I would DEFINITELY not say I have a dark or heavy voice. Weird. Either my recordings aren't picking something up, or they're still just comparing it to the way I sang before last semester. ... I just don't get why they've been saying I have a 'big' voice. I really don't. |

I joined in April 2008 (11 months ago) and Ingwe joined way before that, but I'm catching up very quickly ... I'm going to end up out-lapping him and dancing right past him ... in more ways than one. Wait that just sounded too wrong. Yet so right. Don't put some words together the wrong way or they'll end up not so right!! |

Maybe they're trying to say your voice has a great presence or impact?

^_^ I wish!
But no, they mean big as in terms of 'loud' and how 'full' the sound is. |

Bought a shiny new wallet today. Or actually... yesterday. ( 1.13 AM )
Got applications going for all my new passes too, so in 2 weeks I should at least have those all back. Now to start a new passphoto collection...
