Starting to feel overbooked. O_o Tomorrow morning I have to call the dentist to set up an appointment, make copies of my music for Thursday, get an oil change for my car, try to get a haircut, then I have class from 11-12:30, work from 1-5, and after that I have to deposit a check at the bank, review two chapters of math, translate my Italian aria, and I need to try to memorize a little bit of the opera chorus stuff.

I don't even want to get in to what Wednesday looks like. -_-

Oooooon the super plus side, I don't have to get up early!

Lol, I couldn't agree more. Although, I must say, I forged some of my strongest and most lasting friendships on the school bus ride. We would get off early and walk the final miles to a friend's house. There were usually about a half-dozen of us. I remember those days with nothing but fondness. And a lot of nostalgia.

Many of those friends I still talk to today, and have known a couple for nearly 19 years. I hate it when my mind goes to these places...

Oh, well. Here's to many more future memories to look back on fondly as well!

I'm sorry.

I thought, for some reason, there was a miniseries as well.

*chuckles* So you have heard of the film? I've got it on video. It's pretty much the only film my cousin and I have in common

Yesh.

I have indeed heard of it, and even watched the first five minutes or so, but have never seen it all the way through.

What sorts of films do you and your cousin like?

I agree - I really like the memories I have of getting out and standing in the warm morning air in the fall or spring for ten minutes (ish) every morning to wait for the bus. While I would no doubt enjoy it now, though, I don't think I could make myself do it.

I was a much better person before I began my driving days, apparently.

I like pretty much everything with a happy ending, but have a (not so) secret weak spot for sappy Disney-like films. Or any other sort of Disney film. Lately I've been getting into the more serious film (with more or less happy endings) though, like My Sister's Keeper, Under the Tuscan Sun, Music of the Heart, etc.
My cousin is more the Christian film sort of type. Or the very serious film. Actually, come to think of it, we also both liked Erin Brokovich.

I have had my driver's license for almost a year now, and I can count the number of times I've driven since obtaining it on 1 hand, perhaps barely 2.

Oh man, speaking of Christian films... we watched this movie once (in Spanish) that was about this abandoned kid who grew up in a monistary with the monks until he was like... 10ish?

Then one day the kid was talking to a cucifix wondering about his real parents, etc.... and he died because the 'man on the cross' asked him if he was ready to go and meet his mother and the kid said yes.

As the credits rolled, my sisters and I yelled (in unison), "JESUS JUST KILLED THAT KID!?" My parents had no answer.

I've been noticing lately that I'm coming up on ten years of Entmoot posting this September. O_o Am I the oldest (currently active) poster? I know of course BMilder/Hobbit/etc. have been here longer, but I haven't seen any of them in a looong time. I think the second closests would be Earniel, who's coming up on ten years in January of next year.

Looks like Snowdog has just a bit more seniority and I saw him posting not too long ago.

Which means that by the looks of this, I only have to eliminate the two of you to claim the title. And I'll be invinceable! Mwahahahah!

Blimey, already almost ten years... That's an effing long time to hang around on a messageboard. Which means that the movies are also almost a decade old. Dang, time flies when you're having fun.

Wow, that's a bit of a system shock. I still remember the first time I went to see Fellowship with my friends...and how in love with Liv Tyler I was at the time.
It's pretty crazy that it has been that long, and we havnt seen The Hobbit yet. Soon though, perhaps.

I'm coming up on six years, but I don't count the first two in which I spent all my Entmoot time solely in the quote game thread (does anyone remember those days?). The rest of the board scared me quite a bit back then. I was still wary of "getting out there" in the Internets.
