Hey that's great. I love that show. I was showing at about 0100 hrs here a few months ago on one of the high satellite channels but they stopped showing it. We love it's wacky and sometimes mystical themes. I've even got some music from the show on CD because it was so neat.
...Most interesting you live where some of it was shot....well as George Carlin says "everyones gotta be somewhere".

The oldest continusly operating bar in the state is the Brick! Opened in 1889!

And Lotesse... Harpers Hardware store is the best! They have everything!

Its funny because I never watched the show when it was on.
It was just a pain to have to navigate around them when they were shooting.

I did start watching it after it went into syndication.

A note on the church... the one they show and have in Roslyn was built as a set the last couple years of the show because the original one could not be used anymore.

Well this coffee got cold because I was busy talking and posting and such.

You guys! Man, today I'd like a nice Blueberry Tea, to settle my nerves a tad. Why not? It's just a virtual one anyway, right? *takes a sip, smile spreads over face* Mmmmm, that's better. Thanx 4 covering for me, Snowdog & Butterbeer! Nothing beats a loyal homey when you need a good cover in a pinch...

Here's the standard recipe for blueberry tea, although the drink I make I use Hennessy V.S.O.P. instead of Triple Sec, and I add a touch of Grand Marnier, and serve it in a snifter, slightly heated. Plus, there's really no need to add that much actual tea, just a touch. It tastes and smells exACTly like blueberries; it's incanny...

Standard Blueberry Tea

Amaretto 1 oz.
Triple Sec 1 oz.
Tea Fill with (hot)

======================

Lotesse's Blueberry Tea

Hennessy VSOP 1 oz.
Amaretto 1 oz.
splash of Grand Marnier
splash of nice freshly brewed tea (hot)

That kind of looks like Idlewild, or maybe parts of Redding.

Blueberry Tea

I think I'll need some of Lotesse's blueberry tea later today.
Right now... lots of coffee!

How is everyone this Friday?
I'm home, and will be going to retrieve a dead car about 30 miles east of here.

I am so with you on that, Snowdog.

Coffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee need coffeeeeeeeeeeee

And it sounds like you are having just as much fun as I am.
I am cleaning my house.
But for good reason, we are having our church band over here tonight for pizza and practice. It will be the first time some of them have seen our new home.

Must make it all sparkly!
