I did not have to hold the reighn for he did not wear one, my father rode him bareback and so did i. But he stopped when he heard.

This was another thing that worried me. For I already had the gift and burden of being the wielder of my mother's light, though only Losillewen and Galadriel knew this, and Losillewen had been my guide in the use of the light. Without her, I was not certain I would be able to make the right decisions, to complete the hard tasks that were before me.
