I wrote a ballad some other day
I wrote it to the tune of 'The Green Berets' But I think that I threw it away. The first few words are all I recall, But I'll type them out for you all, So that your browsing eye may fall On a few little lines, Of my own design. Without further ado, here's the rhyme: Fighting hobbits from the Shire, Fearless folk we all admire, Seldom more than three feet tall They have the Ring to rule them all!

Another year's gone by, and I was thinking once again, How can I take this losing hand and somehow win? Just give me One Good Year To get my feet back on the ground. If anything in this thread is confusing, it's because I went ahead and merged a duplicate thread that had been started a while back in the entertainment forum with this one. It was a duplicate, and I didn't want the people who had posted a song there to have to retype theirs.

I have just done 4 exams, and have another 10 to go before i leave school permanentley (14 years of education and i still cant spell permanentley) finrod, your song was cool, don't think that we didnt appreciate it. Kirill, i cant listen to pieces on this computer, but i'll download tonight at home so i can hear you. I respect anyone who can perform music, i'm hopeless, but i can play the first few notes of Red Hot Chili Peppers Scar Tissue on the piano.
