If that last sentence is addressed to me - I have no idea!

(I enjoy football as an excuse to socialize and eat, and have no idea where we are in the season or what teams are doing well )

Cowboys have really come on the last several weeks. Bears and Cowboys don't play each other in the regular season... I hope they will in the playoffs!

did anyone see that cowboys/giants game? ugh! >:/ i swear- the giants MUST've been wearing rubber suits so the ball bounced off 'em! grr...

that being said, incidently, i'm not a giants fan- i merely DISlike the cowboys...
i'm a panthers fan (sad as that may sound...) they're actually not too too bad, they could be worse off, i s'ppose...
they could be buffalo! (and they're my other team! )

hopefully we kick the eagle's sorry butts tomorrow; my little brother likes the eagles, so it should be... interesting in our house!

Anybody besides me have a team they're cheering for in the playoffs?

Hope is rising slowly in Chicago. The Bears have their flaws... and they've lost two key guys from their defense for the season (lost their top defensive back in the 6th game, and their top defensive lineman in about the 11th or 12th). But... they're still in it!

They barely made it past Seattle though. They better hope for bad weather against New Orleans. The have actually won several games this year DESPITE extremely poor outings by Rex Grossman so that bodes well. But this IS the playoffs...

Now that Indy - New England match up should be quite interesting. Id love to see Manning get a Super Bowl ring but New England just always seems to find a way to win no matter what.

I thought the Fluer-de-lis dominated the Eagles game, much more than it showed. Will the weather help the Bears? They certainly need help. N'awlins runs well and plays solid defense. Despite being a dome team that will negate the Chicago winter weather. I see a long day for Rex.

The AFC???? The Colts finally get to play the Flying Elvii in a dome. Let's see Wizard Belichek cast a spell for this one.

I HAD a team I cheered for. Until Matt Hasselbeck couldn't hold onto a snap and Shaun Alexander couldn't gain a freaking yard...

No angst. No, no angst.

Well - I won't go THAT far, 'cause these things switch around all the time.

I like the "I-65" Superbowl match-up though. This is what a lot of us thought we might see the first half of the season, when these two teams were the last of the undefeateds.

So now... I'm just gonna pray that somehow, someway... it snows like mad in Miami two weeks from now!

Beornings! Haha. Are the Colts the Rohirrim then?

What I think is cool about this Superbowl (obviously this isn't a beef, but anyways) is that regardless of which team wins, that head coach will be the first black head coach to win a Superbowl. Plus, both coaches are good buddies. That rocks too.

I also like that we won't get a one-gun salute from Janet Jackson.

It was a great game, from the opening to the end it was up in the air and the turnovers...ridiculous.
