Just reverse your Gondolin wallpaper and re-use it . You can have your reversed picture until you know what you're going to change to.

*BUMP*

I'm curious to know what other people have as their desktops, and how often you change it. I only used to change mine a few times a year until my friend told me she was baffled as to how I could stand to look at the same picture for so long. Now I change it every couple of months or so.

Currently it's Van Gogh's Starry Night over the Rhone.

I have so many icons on my desktop that I can hardly see this pic anymore. Change it every year. Maybe.

Hehe, same here. Burried under the icons I have a pic of a Tasmanian beach. I've had it a very long time now.

I use a lot of my own holiday photo's, usually nature photo's or pretty landscapes. I change every few months, when I feel like change.

My current one is a Corsican beach near the evening when almost everybody is left.

The computer in my room (no internet) has a monthly Republic of Pemberley wallpaper--CE Brock illustration from an Austen book, a quote from an Austen letter, and a brief bulleted list of what's going on in her fiction that month Example: Fanny returns to Longborne. Wickham elopes with Lydia.

On this computer (my dad's), the background was a medium sized picture of John Paul II. That was there a few years. The picture for the past year or so is an old family photo: http://us.f3.yahoofs.com/users/42535...Y7hDDBDTcSa5QG . If you have trouble seeing it, well, umm...Only some people ever seem to get my links right. Sorry!

A picture of Marvin from the HHGTTG movie. Before it was a yellow cow on blue back, painted by Andy Warhol.

The guys in the photo?

It's very funny this thread (hence that picture) was revived, coinciding with the hunting thread.

I change mine pretty often - sometimes every 2 or 3 days. Right now I have a picture of baby penguins from March of the Penguins.
