Myst. (from the books, I haven't played the games.) Linking books very cool. Go to any Age depending on how I felt - nothing compares.

I would choose either lothlorien or someplace in the four lands.
(the four lands are in the terry brooks series, the voyage of the Jerle Shannara.)

Ah, the four lands extend far before that. There's, what, a dozen Shannara books he wrote before those?

Yes, he did write several Shannara books before the Jerle and they all take place in the Four Lands and I agree I would love to live there. Of course, in the Westland in the Elven city of Arborlon.

MiddleEarth (duh! )
Second are Narnia, Tortall, or that place in the Raymond E. Feist books. I forget what it's called. Now that I think of it, it might just be called "The Kingdom"

i can't remember what that kingdom is called in the Feist books, but it's pretty cool isn't it?
I think i need somewhere thyat no-one else has picked yet, else i'd be surrounded by mooters invading my lands. Ok that rules out, narnia, ME, Star wars planets. Ok then i would have to say either Earthsea (LeGuin) or Deverry (Kerr) you can all come and visit if you'd like.

Tortuga's to wild for me. I'd get shot my first day there. But I'd meet Captain Jack Sparrow. *sigh*
