I can't say for sure, but The Fellowship of the Ring. I loved A Journey in the Dark and The Bridge of Khazad-Dum. Those chapters made me laugh, cry and left me terrified (I LOVE books that do that!)

It's got to be Aragorn!

6. WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE MINOR CHARACTER?
Smeagol, definately. But if Smeagol's not a minor character (he's pretty main isn't he?), then it would have to be Elrond or Fangorn.

7. WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE IN MIDDLE-EARTH?
Oooooooooh, tough one! I can't say! I'll pretend I'm a Ranger - everywhere! But I'll only like Khazad-Dum when the Dwarves are in charge and I'll only like Isengard and Mordor when Aragorn reclaims them.

8. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE WEAPON/DEVICE?
Oooooooooh, another toughy! The palantir would be cool, but it's dangerous, so I'll say Gandalf's Staff! The One Ring is corruptive, so it's not that, but it would be useful, wouldn't it, my preciousss, yesss, we'd find it usseful for catching fisshes!
