Lot's of good guesses... let's see where we stand:

There - all good now - and Boromir was the speaker. Just one word left.

I only noticed when typing in this quote initially that Boromir, here in chapter 2 of book 2 - had inspired JRRT for the chapter 2 title of book 1! (underlined portion).
