Teddy, I'm glad your cousin's getting better. I'm keeping her in my prayers.

They've moved her back to her local hospital now and she should be out within a few days depending on what the psychiatrist says but I'm going up to see her tomorrow.

Thanks for your support guys. *moothug*

wow....no vents in 6 days. Is that a record?

I have mono...so no school (good), lots of sleep (good), but I'm really tired, feverish, not much of an appetite, very congested.

Take it seriously, Merc! Don't try to do too much too soon or you'll end up with a relapse! [/mom mode]

I'm resigning, moving to another city a thousand miles away, to be a with a girl that is currently living with another guy. That's what a whopping four days with her has done to me.

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say--the woman's huge? kidding... but seriously, Anduril, IMO moving a thousand miles away to be with someone you had an amazing 4-day fling with, who is LIVING with another man--sounds potentially disastrous.

well you just said what i was gonna say (reply to Spock i mean) ... the womans huge?
as for the rest of it; well life's for living and personally i admire you for it (maybe you could hedge your bets ref: resigning and take a 2 weeker first to see how it pans out??)

anyway good luck with BIG BURTHA or whatever her name is

you sound like you seriously got the Bug man! sometimes you just gotta take that trip y'know? Like i said LIFE!

Be careful though as you rush head-long in ( and thats from experience mate)

My only thought is that if she'll leave the man she's currently living with to be with you, will she leave you to live with someone else later?

I know someone who was like that. They would get into internet relationships, and then move in with the person. A year or two later, they'd be in a new online relationship, and then move again. And again, and again, and again... each guy thought he was the one she really loved and wanted to be with, but she left them.

Just in time for finals week, some kind of super fatigue that prevents me from being lucid for more than three hours at a time has decided to plague me.

(serious) Try not working too hard (just a guess)
take a day off totally and go somewhere else: the seaside, the mountains, woodland , lakes etc: completely forget about everything on you're mind .. it needs refreshing by the sound of it ( take 2 days if you can handle taking that amount of time out?)

it really will be better then burning and frying your mind and body, in terms of your finals: you'll hopefully then get the best out of yourself!

Working on a new harp piece - I really, really like certain sections of this piece, but overall am not in love with it... I think I might just keep the good sections and modify the parts I don't like. I'm frustrated with how my sight-reading has gone downhill, because I haven't been able to play much at ALL these last few months, between ill health and lots of family/friend issues ranging from weddings to post-partum depression to arranging trips to Ecuador, on top of normal life stuff.
