I did do one thing though. It's an OCD exercize I do with fractals.

If anyone has read Neil Gaiman's "Stardust" then you'll understand why this is named Tristan Thorn.
It's how I imagined him as he came through the Wall as a baby.

It's actually made up of two layers. I've been trying to duplicate the effect in Photoshop, but to no avail.

Nicely, nicely done!! The proportions are very balanced! Hats off. I often find it hard to get the legs or the arms the right proportion to the torso, etc. This is very good stuff!

Not bad! I love the colouring; what'd you use?

I started a drawing of a friend's son... ARGH. Something happened to the paper (I think it got damp somehow), and it's definately ruined. I'll have to start over, and I'm not too hyped about it.

actually the paper's color is white...when I took the pic the room wasn't lit well

so it came out "orangey"

I love your drawings! I always admire the "comic book" look! in fact, I just a really great book on angels mainly for the illustrations which are very comic book like. here is my color version of myself as Nerdanel, Feanor's wife. I still have some tweaking to do to it as well as my border to put on it. When I tok the picture it came out really dull in color and you couldn't see any of the canvas texture so I had to add both the color/contrast and the texture back in with Photoshop. I'll scan the finished product when I get it all done.

ok here is my final version. I scanned it but I am STILL mad b/c it makes it look dull! plus it cut off my lovely leaf boarder, tengwar writing and the glitter I sprinkled over the whole thing! grrrrrr!

too bad you all don't live by me that way you could come over and see the real thing!
