I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me;
For our days are ending and our years failing.
I will pass the wide waters lonely sailing.
Long are the waves on the Last Shore falling,
Sweet are the voices in the lost Isle calling,
In Eresëa, in Elvenhome that no man can discover,
Where the leaves fall not: land of my people forever!”

Well, I have no idea why he would have said it, but the wording make me think it was Orlando Bloom. I suppose he would have been talking about Viggo Mortensen (who else would be described as leading barefoot people into a waist-high patch of water. And it was probably in the middle of the night, storming... etc...)

Two more guesses after thinking about the line (not that these are any more logical than my first guess):

Karl Urban

Bernard Hill

Probably still about Viggo. Or PJ.

Sorry I have taken so long to reply I was having some computer problems. But no it is not any of those, so here is a not so helpful hint:

The speaker's character is under five foot and is speaking of someone who is actually over five foot.

yes, yes, I know it is a bit confusing but if I make it any clearer than I might as well just tell you the answer

Have fun!!

mallondwen, I think it's time for you to reveal the answer now. Otherwise this thread won't move from here.

I am sorry for not having gotten back here sooner, and I made a mistake, I never saw Rosie's post. But you got it correct, it was Orlando speaking about Viggo. So Rosie it is your turn, sorry for the delay.

SORRY!!! Oh, man. I'm always forgetting where I post. Next time send me a PM. Sorry.

Ha!!!! I knew it had to be Bloom!!! (are you bloomified? I'm not, just the wording jumped out at me and I could totally see him saying something like that)

Okay, um, new quote. Easy one, just in case I forget I posted in here... AGAIN:

"And I'm saying to the guys, I'm saying to Elijah and Billy, 'You gotta watch them pull it out. It's gonna be a whopper, and I'm going to have it framed..." and all this kind of stuff."

Oh, c'mon. I mean, 'miniscule'? It was made out of, like, titanium or something, and there was just this excruciating PAIN... lol. Actually, I watched that (the interview) a few days ago, and I really botched the quote. Apologies.

Your go.

(Hopefully I won't botch this one)

"You can see the wildness in his eyes. Something kinda clicks (*click*); he goes slightly mental."

Said by who, about who?
