The RPG forum, let's see what's currently cooking...

There the cross-over RPG which combines a number of series like Pirates of the Carribean, Star Trek and so on together with LoTR. There's Entquest, in which several mooters are trekking through middle-earth to save Hector. (Dunno why they bother with that, really. ) Sasquatch is trying to start a rohirrim-RPG, Curufin is doing likewise with a first age game. And there is Long Lost Leaves, in which adventurers go looking for the Entwives.

They all look like so much fun, since I enjoy writing very much, and am working on my own story. I love the idea on the search for the ent wives, thats wonderful. But, its also been my dream to become a Rider of Rohan...haha

Also, who is this Hector that they are trying to save?

Well, I'm going to play Éomer's wife in the Rohirrim RP...perhaps we could work something out so that our characters are friends or something?

That could always work for me. I love anything to do with Rohan, I honestly do not know why...maybe its just because Eowyn is my favorite, but I dont know, I just love the place

He is the current president of entmoot. A clorful, elusive creature prone to make up quotes, spread redicuous rumors, and make a general mess of things....seriously, why are we bothering with him?

The Rohirrim are my favorite Men, although that's not saying much, as I'm quite Eldar-centric in my tastes. Although I tend to prefer Éomer to Éowyn.

LothÃ*riel, his wife, is mentioned in the Appendix:

Éomer became a great king, and being young when he succeeded Théoden he reigned for sixty-five years, longer than all their kings before him save Aldor the Old. In the War of the Ring he made the friendship of King Elessar, and of Imrahil of Dol Amroth; and he rode often to Gondor. In the last year of the Third Age he wedded LothÃ*riel, daughter of Imrahil. Their son Elfwine the Fair ruled after him.

So since she's from Dol Amroth, and the daughter of Imrahil, I like to play the culture shock she's going to face when she gets to Dol Amroth. She's not a very happy bride, although she loves Éomer. My LothÃ*riel doesn't speak Rohirric, misses the sea, and hates horses.

I RP a LOT on the other board I'm on - I've won 'Best RP'er' or 'Best RP'er' runner-up for five years. Not bragging - but I do put a lot of time and work into it.

Most of my stuff is First Age, though. My favorite RP I've ever done (and which is still in progress) is called A Memory Fair but Unfinished, in which I play Amarië, Finrod's beloved. It's their love-story, and of course, quite sad in the end.

Memory is part of a quartet the participants and I call 'The Noldor Quartet' (or N4) which is a pretty intense RP quartet also including Blood Brothers (about the relationship between Maedhros and Fingon, and also within the House of Fingolfin (including his relationship with Anairë his wife, and Turgon, Argon and Aredhel)), Spirit of Fire (about Fëanor, Finwë, Nerdanel, etc. - starts when he finds out about the Doom of Mandos concerning the Statute of Finwë and MÃ*riel) and Flight of the Noldor, which brings them all together and takes the Noldor to Middle-earth. I play Fëanor, Amarië, Anairë, Maedhros, Curufin, Turgon, Eldalotë (Angrod's wife), Andreth, and several other minor characters. It's great fun.
