So why didn't you like our cheap attempt to clarify it?
what are you talking about?????

I just said it was for the opinions of the mooters in the Anti American thread. NOT THIS ONE.

Ah, nevermind. You're not seeing the sentence for the words. If you can't understand it'll make us run off topic, so I don't think attempting to explain it is any good.

On a short note: would anything humaniod (like a mermaid) count?

If vampires count, mermaids count.

Siricus: Let's break it down. Your sig says, and I quote, "I desapprove of what you say, But i will defend to the death you'r right to say it."

Now I will resist the urge to correct the spelling and just point out that it basically means that while the person saying the quote may disagree with the opinion, he/she agrees with our right to make said opinion. This opinion could be about sexism, KKK, bigotry, or mythological creature definitions. The point is, we have a right to our opinions, regardless of the subject matter. To say that this quote is ONLY applicable to the anti-american thread (and that me, Re and a bunch of other people weren't allowed to exercise our opinions as to what constitutes to be a mythological creature) kinda defeats the purpose of having the quote in your sig. Get it now, knuckle-head?

I'd have to say one of the scaled beasts... Dragon, Basilisk, Chimera, Gorgon. The fact each of these nasties has special ways of killing people has also influenced my decision. (Fire breath, Petrifying stare, another one with fire breath, Death stare)

Either way, he could change from a mythological spirit into a mythological beast. Which makes him a mythological beast.

In the same way that a human is a teenager for a certain period of time. If you are my favourite teenager, why can't Satan (praise His name), be my favourite mythological beast? Hmmm?

You're warning us of what? Do I see moderator under your name? That's a big fat NO. This thread is about Mythological creatures; we are allowed to debate the merits of Satan as a mythological creature. Just because you don't believe that he is, doesn't stop other people from subscribing to it. Quit taking it so personally, and ignore it, if it's not in your line of thinking.

I know I'm not a moderator! I just don't want any religious arguments getting involved. That's because Satan is NOT myhtological. He's as real as gravity. You can't see him, but he's there.

According to you. According to me, he's as real as a dragon... and since a dragon happens to be a mythological creature....

Like I said: you don't like it, ignore it.

Religion seems to always get people angry and start fights. Especially when one person has their idea of religion and the other has another idea. So how about we just stick with plane old none religion involving creatures so no body starts to get others angry. So as to not get others upset. That should really not be a challeng to just keep religion and mythology seperat. So please just stop talking about satan. or any other religious creature.
(and if you say to me that I am not a moderator than maybe I should ask to become one)
