(XXXVII) 1. Blue triangle 2. White on top 3. Red below = Czech Republic
(XXXVIII) 1. White on top 2. Blue middle + shield 3. Red below = Croatia (XXXX) 1. White on top 2. Lightgreen middle 3. Red below = Bulgaria (XXXXII) 1. Red on top 2. White middle 3. Lightgreen below = Hungary, let me put it correctly (XXXXIV) 1. Red on top 2. Thin White Line middle 3. Red below = um, Latvia? My first guess was Austria, but that's simply red-white-red, not a thin line... Tricksy I'll try to proceed, I just have to leave for a coupla minutes...

...ancient people:
Came from the North. Off to the West to rock and ruin, off to the East for mercantile business. ...other ancient people: The furtherst east any of the Great Empires ever got. Back on their western island home they had to fight three other people after the Romans left. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 10-22-2005 at 01:47 AM. |

...ancient people:
"Beasts" of burden in the ancient country with manshaped mountains. A highly-positioned man made the leader both let them leave and not. ...other ancient people: Famous for their maritime trading culture. Is said to even have gone over the Gread Pond to the other side. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 10-22-2005 at 02:02 AM. |

Oh, that's right. They speak Swahili in the land of milk and honey, right?
As for the second one, Great Pond must be the Mediterranean, so it must be the Greeks.

The Canaanites (who lived there before the Jews came) most likely spoke Canaanish. And sorry again, I meant for no 2: The Phoenecians. They are believed to have travelled over the Atlantic. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 10-22-2005 at 02:31 AM. |
