Not well, and it is actually pretty easy. As long as it doesn't require reading music. I don't have strong lungs by any means, so I often have to stop for breath. I will NEVER be able to do what my uncle says he does (he plays EVERYTHING), and that is breath in through his nose while he's breathing out through the instrument. Sounds like it defies some fundamental scientific law, but hey, maybe I heard wrong.

I once made a digeridoo out of PVC pipe. An Australian came to my school (before I started homeschooling) in shorts in the middle of winter and... we made digeridoos. Anyway, I play piano, recorder, and guitar. Just started guitar, really. I used to play clarinet.

Ciao, Meriadoc! That's a great idea, to make one out of PVC.

You are so lucky! *falls into reverie of what he'd do if he could play piano*
Can you play Rhapsody in Blue? I Got Rhythm? Fur Eliese (sp?)? Scenes from Childhood? *wants to know*

Yeah, all of my digeridoos were made out of PVC. Made none of them myself.
Made by my uncle.

Wow, I love all the wolves! The wolf is my favourite animal. They look so graceful and full of pride. And I like how they live in packs, and I like how there are lone wolves too. I`ve been saying I wanna be reincarnated as an alpha wolf (male or female, either way).

Yeah, that isn`t making too much sense to me. Ask him how he does it. Because if you think about how breathing works, it doesn`t make much sense. What happens when you breath in is that you expand your lungs which causes air to be pushed in by the unbalance of pressure. When you breath out, you are pushing the air out by decreasing the volume of the space inside your lungs and once again the air moves to equalize the pressure. I really don`t see how both could happen at once. But if it can I wanna know how.

Yeah. Seems impossible. But we're talking about Uncle Ray, a known outlaw from the laws of physics. He and I are in the same boat.

Now seems like a good time to play another Gerswhin tune.
*plays "Someone to Watch Over Me"*
I beleive these are the right lyrics...
*sings:*
There's a somebody I'm longing to see
I hope that he turns out to be
someone who'll watch over me

I'm a little lamb who's lost in a wood
I know I could always be good
to one who'll watch over me

Although he may not be the man some girls think of
as handsome to my heart
he carries the key

Won't you tell him please to put on some speed
follow my lead, oh how I need
someone who'll watch over me

You know what? Why not a Gershwin marathon?
*plays "Embraceable You" and sings:*
Dozens of girls would storm up
I had to lock my door
somehow i couldn't warm up
to one before

what was it that controlled me
what kept my love life lean
my intuition told me
you'd come on the scene

lady listen to the rhythm of my heartbeat
and you'll get just what I mean

Embrace me, my sweet embraceable you
Embrace me, you irreplaceable you
just one look at you my heart grew tipsy in me
You and you alone bring out the gypsy in me

I love all the many charms about you
above all i want my arms about
Don't be a naughty baby...
come to papa come to papa do

My sweet embraceable you...

Gershwin marathon huh? Maybe this is good timing for another music war. Gershwin...

I would like some hot chocolate, with lots of whip cream. And really chocolatey. And not too hot. With some sprinkles on it you know the kind that are kind of flat and small and made into interesting shapes. (from the background: sprinkles! sprinkles!)

Na. Changed my mind. We'll now pay full attention the Entmoot Philharmonic as it plays the ENTIRE RING CYCLE! Buwahaha! No loud talking, because this is being recorded for my MP3 player.

Nice to meet you...whoever you are...*bows Martian style*
Why? What's wrong with Gershwin? *stands in front of book of musical scores by Gershwin*

Don't get all mad, silly goose! It's just that those songs get stuck on the brain like pernicious peanut butter - for instance, I just took my evening shower, right after reading that post you did with the lyrics to "Someone to watch over me," and - well, it's driving me bananas. I think I need to pull out my IPod right now and find something to listen to and get that friggin' song outta my head.

And I cannot believe you don't know who Annie Lennox is!! Are you SERious? She won awards for "Into The West," the song for Lord of the Rings Return of the King, remember? An absolutely gorgeous song which I can never grow weary of, unlike some Gerschwin tunes that shall not be repeated...

No...should I?
I don't really pay attention to the movies, and yes, I remember those songs, but I really dont' have any reason to remember who sings them, well, I didn't like the movies anyway. But the soundtrack and score was killer! *applauds*

Annie Lennox, huh? Hm. ... She looks like Billy Idol.

Thanks for the hot chocolate. Somewhere along the line good hot chocolate has become the more comforting food/drink in the world for me. I`m not like depressed at he moment but, well, yeah, it`s not a big deal. In fact between the chocolate and the Final Fantasy I forgot all about it. Why am I still hungry though? I had a lot to eat for lunch.

What is the ring cycle?

Wagner's Ring Cycle. Das Rhinegold, Die Walkure, Siegfried, and Die Gotterdammarund. I decided to quit after scene one of Rhinegold.

I see. But while they`re here (the Entmoot Philharmonic) make them play something good. Like the Carmina Burana. It`s been too long since I heard "O Fortuna". It goes so well with tea and crumpets.

(and what`s a crumpet?)

I know.
It's kinda scary being the top poster on a message board that you joined only several hours and you already have at the very least 1200% more posts of the next highest poster. You've got 12 posts, giving even the administrator one post.
