very rarely, some people refer to this disgusting condiment as worcestershire sauce, but that archaic reference has been gradually replaced over the last 50 years or so with the now popularly correct worcester sauce.

Esteemed Lyrders!

The imminent and rather hairy escape of Merry and Pippin is about to take place. With the unwanted help of a certain ORCer.

Post on,
GW

Oh. I happen to think Worcester sauce is delicious! My grandma says Worcesteshire sauce I think. But she's allowed.

If I had the books I'd star Grishnakh off... maybe we can do something about him suddenly getting all weepy because of his abnormally long arms (even for an ORCer), then Merry and Pippin can drop unsubtle hints about the package. What do you think of that?

EDIT:
Okay, I set up for Grishakh's enterence. I think he comes in right after the end of my last post.

Did we do anything special for elven cloaks? We don't have to, but if we did I'd want to be consistent. And MRE (Meals-Ready-to-Eat) was our final choice for lembas right?

Just a tiny friendly piece of advice as to avoid crosspostings. Read the post just before yours. And sorry if I have been doing it too.

I did read your post, but I thought I'd "flesh out" the battle a bit more.

Thanks

I think it works. I'm going to edit my last post to say that they're just at the edge of the forest. Then your post makes sense - and we need the part with the knife, which I forgot.

Soon the hobbits will meet Fangorn himself.

For the trio & Gandalf's reemergence, here some pointers.

Theoden, a Zen Karate Master.
Wormtongue, catburglar.
Edoras, the Central Command Post of the Rohirrim.
Eowyn, The Bride.

I love it!

Wormtongue can "poison" Theoden's mind by giving him relaxing tapes, with whale music and whatnot. What Theoden doesn't know is Saruman recorded some subliminal messages in the background. Gandalf can expose this by playing the tapes with the tracks isolated (using a switchboard... I think you would use...) and then cure Theoden. Maybe with a motivational speech. "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." etc.

Eowyn is (as per MSN conversation with GW) the bride in Kill Bill. She can wear a yellow leather jumpsuit and have an awesome samurai sword.

Perhaps the other Ents should be from other vegetable trademarks.

Yeah, that's awesome! Just like the Ents in the book were clearly from different tree species...

And Treebeard, Pippin & Merry are off to T.'s home for some special Green Tea mixed with Energy or Gainomax Recovery (just to explain unexpected growth of the two hobbits) and cookies.

Lyrders and Lyrdesses,

What's happened? I had in mind that we would make the entire LOTR into LYRD.

And we're only a third into The four Towers.

And so we soon come to the succouring and reinstatement of Theoden, the banishing of Wormtongue and the Battle of Helm's Deep.
