In the Netherlands. They recently started a second one just across the border in Germany.

Reading this thread (and seeing all your lovely pictures) has made me want to try some photography myself. I had a dream about it last night, but in the dream I ended up getting viciously attacked by the robins I was taking pictures of.

Sounds like your subconscious is afraid of proving to be a poor photographer. You'd better prove it wrong.

I Really enjoyed your photos Sir Grey (..another long time!)
It's not all about technical ability, and what i really liked with your photos is that they connected with me ... opening a real window, beyond the posts - i found it charming to see your garden, in riotus bloom - i particularly liked the window basket. Gave me a sense of peace, somehow. Best BB |

Indeed. Your garden must be wonderful place to be just now.

Thanks my friends - indeed, mum is very good at flowers and blooms. I, on the other hand, am only "good" at the photographical "documentation" of the splendour of colour and form.

It's a magnificent ship which I've had the chance to visit on several occasions. Only last week it was in Stockholm again. It's got a genuine old ship-ish ambience about it with its wood, ropes, blocks and tackles. It conveys that feeling a lot more strongly than the other East Indiaman I've been onboard, namely Amsterdam from the Netherlands. Quote:
And the squirrels too (pic from 2005).

Indeed, buddy! Im posting a number of photo series from 08 and 09. And this one was taken with my compact. I was not in Stokholm during the festivities and missed the ship.
Ill be going up to the capital in the second weekend in July. |

Jonathan! That squirrel is so cute! I really want to go there now. The friendliest a squirrel ever got with me was jumping on my lap to get up onto a picnic table. Scared me half to death.

I'm not gonna lie, those shoes are rad Jonathan. Are they regular day-to-day shoes or special walking/hiking shoes?
