Bet the EW and Billy Boyd fangirls wish they'd left that scene in. Anyway...
Umm... Lemme see... Who was the Ringbearer? What was the name for the places Elves of Lorien lived?

I actually meant the Elvish name, but since I didn't say that, right answer. Your turn.

Yes, that's the time I was thinking....can anyone remember an incident prior to that, where Frodo puts on his precious?
Frodo get's a little weird there. Tom has made a mockery of the ring, by putting it on and not disappearing. Frodo gets whacky, and puts the ring on afterwards, to make sure it's still "his precious". Tom tells him, ......."Your hand's more fair without it!".......Poor Frodo!

Quote:
I am sure that in Tom Bombadil's house was the first time Frodo wore the ring. If he had used it earlier, the ringwraiths would have found him. Always back to Tom Bombadil... the enigma;"what a strange creature" as Elrond said. The ring had no power over him, and he apparently could see Frodo with the ring on.
