Jat Jar Binks a Sith lord?
This is getting a lot of traction on the web.
Jar Jar Binks could be a Sith lord. (YouTube version) You should check out the arguments yourself, but he does wear a lot of red and black, just like fellow Naboo native Palpatine. And he continues as Palpatine’s companion as the Republic ends. Right now, if you Google “jar jar”, the first suggestion is “jar jar binks”, and the seond is “jar jar binks sith”. |

Ah, yes. I saw that. I personally will accept it in the hopes that this plot line is followed in the new movies.
I did enjoy the argument that this was the original plan, but that George Lucas chickened out on it when he realized the level of animosity towards Jar Jar. The whole Count Dooku thing really was out of left-field, if you ask me.

Just another thought though, maybe the idea of Jar Jar being the villain was the plotline that Lucas had originally suggested. The idea that Disney refused.
