Yogi Berra
Yogi Berra, an American baseball player, died this week aged 90. He was the catcher for the New York Yankees for many years, and later the Yankee’s manager.
His baseball record is impressive: some of his accomplishments are still unmatched. More than that, he is remembered for his good humor and outstanding character. But most of all, he is remembered for the strange way he said things: Yogi-isms seem to make no logical sense, yet are understandable and even sensible. For your amusement, here’s a sample of Yogi Berra’s wisdom:
