Do You Know This Word And Its Usage...
In this game you take a word from a dictionary and just write the definition of it and then the person that gets the word must use it in a sentens.
Like this....as you see u may use it more than once in a sentens and in a different tense. A0001 - To give up: To desert: To yield oneself without restraint = Abandon. They were abandoned by the pirates on an abondened island. Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 07-17-2008 at 03:10 PM. |

Abase?
Are you going through the dictionary in order? Does this mean I get to ask one now? If so... Definition: to convert (bare or cultivated land) into forest, originally for the purpose of providing hunting grounds

Yes, Nurv. You continue with the next question as you did. And then the next one to reply does the same, that is u, G W. And the one who's asked the question edits in the correct word in the post.
But you can jump skip about in the A-section of your Dictionary. And the next one answering correctly will ask the next question - hope it doesnt seem too difficult? Last edited by Grey_Wolf : 07-17-2008 at 11:59 PM. |

Affoliate? Don't even know if it's a real word, just going by comparison to "defoliate"

The only reason I knew that word was cos it was a classification type in one of the (GIS) datasets (vegetative coverage of NZ) @ university. LOL.
Someone else can go.

GM, you're supposed to give the definition, and then WE guess the word.

Antidisestablismentarianism means, if I'm breaking this word down correctly, being against the idea of breaking down the establishment. (I tried not to use part of the word in my answer, but I can't avoid it.)

It means opposition to the motion for disestablishing the Church of England, as I recall. Though I'm sure it could be extended to the disestablishing of any established religion.

Okay. This is super confusing.. but I'll have a go and see if I understand the directions.
I post a definition. Others guess the word and use it in a sentence... in any correct way they wish. Whomever guesses the correct word gets to post the next definition. Let me try. A word. Definition: Activity or fuss
