We have car-free Sunday coming up: no driving on that day. AND the clock will go an hour forward tonight.

I didn't get out of bed till about noon, when my left leg was finally willing to move without being super painful. Does that count as saving energy? I didn't have any lights on till noon.

I turn the lights back on after the hour and dad nearly falls down the stairs.

Still, found one last room where we haven't yet changed the lamps to low energy ones.

Ashamed to say we forgot

.......but we did go to bed earlier than normal so at least the lights were off then.

We're slowly working on changing out our bulbs. I really don't like the new ones, but as the old incandescents burn out, they are being replaced with the "new-fangled" ones.

I totally forgot about this, but I think last night at 8-9 I was at some friends' house and we were doing a crossword puzzle together. The light was on, but at least TV/video games were off. A rare occurrence in that house!
