Red Mars, Green Mars, and Blue Mars
I'm completely astonished that there is not thread for these books! It's beyond my comprehension, considering there are people here who have read it.
Anyway, I read all three, and they are the best! Now I have some questions to jump start the thread, and get some opinions on: -What do you think happened to Hiroko? Personally, I think she either died during the second revoloution, or she flew to the outer satellites and beyond. I like the second explanation better. -What happened? Who guessed Sax and Ann ended up falling in love? And who would have? Certainly I didn't, though I acidentally read it somewhere else on the net, or at least that Sax loved Ann and didn't know it. -What's your opinion on Reds and Greens? Which would you be? Also, if anyone can help me list the first hundred, that would be helpful. First Hundred: 1. John 2. Frank 3. Arkday 4. Nadia 5. Ann 6. Sax 7. Hiroko 8. Vlad 9. Ursula 10. Spencer 11. Phyllis 12. Michael 13. Maya 14. ... 101. Desmond ("Coyote")

I've read Red Mars and Green Mars twice and am in the process of reading Blue Mars.
I think that they're terrific books. Searching on altavista on the three book titles produced 10000 hits. There was this site called Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars which I was trying to find, but no success. As for Reds and Greens they're Radicals and Moderates, and then perhaps there'll be Softhearted Blues, if KSR ever writes more books about the place. I've read Red and Green. They were some cool books. I finally understand that obscure "61" reference that TB made in that paris riots thread.

Things hoagland points out.
I know this is about the books, so a bit off topic, but here is some of hoagland's intriguing points. Who knows eh?

Well, Rohirrim, be sure to read Blue Mars.
I will have to look into this most interesting character. (As in non-character.) Right now, I have to read the Cafe XVII to catch up at least somewhat.

Is this creepy or what? It reminded me of Red Mars immediately.
