Exactly. If you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed.

Something I noticed missing: Where the hell was Nightcrawler? Or did he die in the secon one? I admit I haven't seen the first two
*scampers off to the video store*

Refresh my memory, who was Bishop again?

yeah I wondered about nightcrawler as well, I guess he went back to the circus or whatever. wasn't he like a pacifist in the books? like the only time he was seen fighting was when he was under mind control.

Apparently what happened to Nightcrawler is explained in the Official X-Men III game, which links the 2nd and 3rd movies.

I heard a rumor that Halle Berry was to blame for it all. That she demanded about six rewrites before she would agree to play Storm again, and her demands not only included absolute neglect of Nightcrawler but also a horrible change of storyline.

Sounds a bit hard to believe. But someone's resonsible. IDK.

On second thought, is anyone familiar with the comic books here? Did Rogue actually give up her mutant abilities at one point, or am I getting myself very confused? I know she was a volunteer for one of Mr. Sinister's experiments, at least.

Also, I found some good Bishop pics here. From what little research I just did, i found out that he can channel energy through his body and release it, focused, through his hand. He also uses guns a lot, and can charge the bullets in a variety of ways. My geek brother also insists that he can negate the powers of other mutants, which sort of makes sense, since he can definately absorb and control mutant powers involving energy at least. In addition to that, he's basically the Terminator, because he is from a time 70 or so years into the future, when a big rebellion of mutant slaves has just ended and mutants and people are beginning to co-exist, policing themselves. He's a cop or something, and whoever he works for or with can send him back in time to change the course of history. Like one time I know of, when he appeared at the X-Mansion to organize an attack on Apocolypse. If he hadn't shown up, the X-Men would have learned of Apocolypse's threat too late and he would have conquered the world with his Sentinel robots. The rise of the machines. The more I think about it, the more Bishop reminds me of the Terminator now.

that was exactly my reaction, Brett Ratner is NOT allowed to kill cyclops *sigh* why couldn't they stick with Bryan Singer? I would have waited another year, just to have seen Singer's version of "the last stand"

Assuming that's the director, I hear he got a better offer for Superman.
