Oh sorry. That was just a lapse in my reading comprehension skills.
BJ said, "Aristotle seemed to realize the relative nature of human perception and that our musings on reality are just that." I thought he meant that Aristotle thought of reality as relative to our own take on it. You'd know better than me what he actually thought. ![]() Aristotle aside, I'm pretty sure there are many people who preach that reality only exists in the mind--that reality is exactly what we percieve as reality, and anything we don't percieve is false, because, who can say otherwise? But that just screams "devil's advocate" so obnoxiously I hate it. I find it hard to believe that anyone genuinely believes this philosophy. No, reality is not relative to our perception of it.

I could be mistaken, but I think that BJ merely meant that in opposition to the starkly uncompromising Forms of Plato's view. Am I right, BJ?
