Alatar and Pollando (other izards) in MOVIE!!!!!
iF YOU LOOK ON THE lOTr tcg lists, in the bloodlines category, there are two cards out of a long list. One of them is like Alata: Far Traveller or something. ALATAR IS THE MOTH IN THE FOTR!!!! Here's the link to see Alatar's card:
http://decipherstore.fanhq.com/TCG/C...=7&cardID=6023 Pollando is the MOTH IN THE ROTK! At the end, the one that gets the eagles, you know? He's Pollando! That's what happened to them! Sauron turned them in to moths! But the still help to oppose evil, I guess. Here's Pollando's link: http://decipherstore.fanhq.com/TCG/C...=7&cardID=5882 By the way for hose who don't know, Pollando the Deep Blue and Alatar the Sea Blue (or just blue) were the two other wizards besides Radagast, Gandalf, and Saruman who went east to oppose Sauron but were never heard from again.

Whoa...
(BTW...it looks like you got Alatar and Pollando mixed up...the shot for Alatar shows part of ROTK, and the shot for Pollando shows part of FOTR)

OMG, they got turned into moths? Totally unTolkienesque!
By the way it's Pallando. And the Eagles came by themselves in the books.

you should read 'em sometime... they almost live up to the movies definitely not tolkien's view... but an interesting take none-the-less... though it kinda leaves radagast out in the woods... which is probably fine with him

Groovy. I wonder whose idea it was.
Definitely read the books. Stop what you're doing and go and get 'em now. I am still curious as to what someone who saw the movies first would think of the books. |

On the Decipher link, the card for Alatar has a picture of Gandalf on it.
Alatar as the moth? Definitely creative. The Istari came to Middle-earth in the form of old men, except Alatar, who chose the form of a white moth. I wonder what the point of doing that is though. Do you have a screenshot of the credit for Alatar? (I like your avatar by the way JTB. My eyes! )

Take a closer look, Nurv...the moth is there...although Gandalf is the main part.
I guess Decipher wanted to put the Istari in the game, and they decided that making them the moth(s?) that showed up to help Gandalf made sense.

The original poster + those who believe that Alatar and Pallando were moths = retarded.

Hmm...I just took a look at Pallandro's card again, and at the left side, there's a link to the next card: Radagast. And the Radagast card has a picture of Gandalf + the moth at orthanc. I don't think Raddy got turned into a moth either...

He's not really a HUMAN in the movies, he's just the moth, if that's what your questio meant. Thanx! Hmm...I just took a look at Pallandro's card again, and at the left side, there's a link to the next card: Radagast. And the Radagast card has a picture of Gandalf + the moth at orthanc. I don't think Raddy got turned into a moth either... (quoted) I don't understand that either, but there IS another card that has "human" Radagast. Here's the link: http://decipherstore.fanhq.com/Resou...TR-EN00051.jpg It was created by WETA, the dudes who did all the technical / effects for the LOTR movies. So, no portrayer, just a digital created wizard. Sweeeeeet.
